or over two decades, Dr. James A. Wing has been a surgeon at Northern Dutchess Hospital, providing the highest quality of care for a variety of health problems. Dr. Wing received his medical training in Italy at the University of Bologna, and has been board-certified in general surgery since 1986. He did his residency in general surgery at Nassau County Medical Center, where he stayed on as a staff physician while also teaching advanced trauma life support at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. Dr. Wing enjoys his specialty because he can see how much patients’ lives can improve through surgery. Over the years, he has witnessed advances in surgical methods that allow him to offer procedures that are increasingly easier on patients. In addition, better medications mean
improved post-operative comfort. Dr. Brian Binetti brings to the Division of General Surgery in Rhinebeck his training in the latest, minimally invasive surgical techniques, such as endoscopy and robotics. Dr. Binetti received his MD from Saint George’s University, and was awarded the Herbert A. Schulte Award for excellence in surgery during his residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Since that residency Dr. Binetti has been at the Albany Medical College as a Fellow in minimally invasive surgery, and also served as a clinical instructor before joining HQMP.
