Implementation: Execute the implementation program and develop a new IWRM approach/scheme. For details of implementation procedures for infrastructure development projects refer to existing manuals for study, design and construction, etc. For establishment of institutional frameworks and organizations refer to existing IWRM manuals. Monitoring & evaluation: Monitor and evaluate if the newly developed approach or scheme is functioning and watch out for any new problems. Public awareness & accountability and capacity building:These are powerful agents for promoting IWRM and can be at times set as objectives. Thus these should be considered from the beginning of the IWRM process. However, it takes time and efforts. They need to be implemented in the later phases as well.
