Tie a loose overhand knot with about 10 inches of working end protruding from the knot. Feed the working end through the eye of the lure or hook. Then, feed the end back through the
overhand knot, allowing enough line to finish steps 2 and 3. Next, adjust the loop to its desired size and make a second overhand knot around the standing part of the line just past the first knot.

Pull the entire leader through the loop. Don’t pull the knot tight.
Hold the two lines together and, treating them as a single line, tie an overhand knot.
Pass the line through the loop a second time as shown in the illustration at left.
Hold the lines on each end of the knot and pull tight. Trim the tag ends.

Finish the knot by tightening each of the two individual knots, then sliding them together snug against the eye of the lure or hook.

Place the two lines parallel, with the ends pointing in opposite directions. Overlap the lines about 8 inches.

Hold the lines on either end of the knot and pull tight. Clip the tag ends.
Pull leader and loose end of line through loop.
Tie a simple Overhand Knot in the doubled line, letting the hook hang loose. Avoid twisting the lines.
Pull the end loop down, passing it completely over the hook.
Pull both ends of the line to draw up the knot.

Insert one end (A) of the leader through the eye of the hook, extending 2 inches beyond the eye. Insert the other end (B) of the leader through the eye in the opposite direction, pointing toward the throat of the hook. The remaining leader is below hook.
Take the large lower loop closest to the eye and wrap it over the hook shank and both ends of the leader toward the hook's throat.
Continue to wrap 7 turns. Pinch wraps with left hand. Grip the end of the leader that is through the eyelet with your right hand and pull smoothly. Continue pinching the turns so the knot won’t unravel. When knot is almost tight, slide it up against the eye of the hook. Grip the short end lying along the shank of the hook with a pair of pliers. Pull this end and the standing line at the same time to completely close and tighten the knot.

1. Pass about 8 inches of the line through the eye of hook, swivel or lure. Now wrap the working end around the standing line 5 times.
2. Hold the coils in place. Feed the end of the line through the first small loop above the eye, then through the big loop as shown.
3. Pull on the tag end while holding the standing line to snug the coils up. Make sure the coils remain spiral and do not overlap each other. Slide tight against the eye. Snip tag end.
Overlap the ends of two similar diameter lines for about 6". Take one end, and form a loop, leaving about 8 inches of working end extending beyond the loop.
Feed the tag end through the open loop, then pull it to form a snug knot tight around the line. Repeat steps 1, 2 & 3 with the other line.

Tie a Uni-Knot, making six turns around the tow lines (leave the loop open).
Cinch up both knots by pulling on the remaining working ends. Pull the two standing lines in opposite directions to slide the knots snugly together. Trim ends close to nearest knot.
