WHAT'S ON
ADULT EDUCATION
Courses are well underway and once again a big “thank you” goes out to all the learners who have signed up and continue to loyally support this centre. We have been hit by the delayed circulation of the county council brochure, so in some instances we have delayed the start time of various courses to allow for late enrolments and to try and make sure as much provision as possible runs. Key things coming up:-
• We have FREE Maths and English GCSE classes starting end of September, Maths in Cartmel, Tuesday evenings and English in Ulverston, Wednesday evenings. A great chance to gain an essential qualification, with only the exam registration to pay for. • Sue Hotchkiss will be running her ever popular Pilates Masterclass; 17th October, Cartmel Primary School. Suitable for anyone with at least 9 months experience of Pilates. • Delayed the start of a number of classes, such as Guitar for Beginners, From Timid to Tiger: Positive approaches to parenting children with children with anxieties; Art appreciation, Creative Writing for All etc., If you are unsure on the status of a class, call us as we can always revive a course at a later stage when we have sufficient learners to proceed. All Change…
Unfortunately we have to change our email from December 2015 so we will be advising you over the coming weeks what it will change to and apologise for the potential disruption this may cause as we try to update all course materials and literature associated with this centre to reflect this imposed change. I will also be leaving as Centre manager on December 17th. There will be a new person appointed to fulfil this role and l am sure that you will give them the amazing support you have kindly shown me over the last 12 years. Jude, Carolyn and Debbie
