Arrange a festival of Francis Ford Coppola's films which are based on bonding between families and brothers. Represent the design with subtle visual elements of emotion found in violence. SOLUTION | BONDING
Impressed by Francis Ford Coppola's motion pictures, I appreciate the emotional intensity and breathtaking strength in his gangster films. The selected motion pictures include The Godfather Trilogy, The Cotton Club and Rumble Fish in this Brutal Brotherhood Film Festival. To visually represent the integration of honor, power and violence, I manipulated straight but rough linear graphics which brought more dramatic effect to the design.

Design a new skincare product line named Moxie for Belkin, a brand renowned for energy conservation products as well as accessories for mobile devices, such as laptops, iPads, iPods and iPhones. SOLUTION | PROTECTION
Belkin is a brand that not only creates technology but protects it too. Hence, there is a potential opportunity to create a skincare product line that focuses on essential skin protection in daily routine. I decided to highlight the simplicity of modern living for Belkin Moxie.

Rober t Mondav i Winer y has passionately educated the public about art, food and wine. It is an iconic place where visitors can taste fine wines and appreciate art. The winery not only provides flavorful wine tasting but also offers an atmosphere of relaxation. In order to depict this, I created classic packaging design inspired by Mondavi's landmark architecture.

Design a promotional package including a book and a poster for t he Em ig re t y pe fou nd r y by featuring Mrs. Eaves accompanied with Suburban and Dalliance. SOLUTION | CRAFT
This typographic exploration illustrates delicate and feminine features of Mrs. Eaves. Stitching Pretty is developed upon the classic and vintage quality of letterpress as well as the story of Sarah Eaves, who became John Baskerville’s wife and assistant with typesetting and printing. In order to depict the beauty of Mrs. Eaves, I chose the subject of handmade embroidery, one of the most feminine and unique sewing crafts.

Think of a potential product related to the instant fuel-up energy of Red Bull. The task is to create a systematic packaging design as well as promotional campaign for Red Bull Shake Batter y. SOLUTION | MOTION
This Red Bull Shake Batter y is a conceptual product developed with the ideas of sustainability and v italit y. It is a rechargeable battery that can recharge energy instantly by the simple shake of a hand. This type of batteries meets essential needs of batter yoperated electric appliances during outdoor activities. Red Bull Shake Energy is portable and well suited for spor ts too.

Begin with the manipulation of type specimen and then experiment with typographic color followed by principles. SOLUTION | PRINCIPLE
A chance to explore the fundamental and experimental study of Univers. It was my first time creating beautiful typographic color with only one typeface by using a wide range of weights. This practice taught me the principles of ty pe setting and paragraph styles. Every masterpiece begins with sturdy foundation. Univers is the typeface which got me interested in the essential understanding of typography.

Create books and cards printed on the Vandercook letterpress by using negative film and polymer plates. I have enjoyed making poly mer plates and arranging handset types. Using letterpress taught me about the classic and unique hand printing techniques. SOLUTION | METAPHOR
“The Four Noble Ones” also called “Four Friends” in Mandarin art refers to four plants: the orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum and plum blossom. They have been used as metaphors by Chinese artists for centuries. They also represent the four seasons: the plum blossom for winter, the orchid for spring, the chrysanthemum for autumn and the bamboo for summer. My accordion-folded booklets were meant to manipulate the horizontal format of Chinese landscape painting.

River Rock Casino was established by Dr y Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians. The casino provides job opportunities in the community, contributes funding to education and preser ves valuable culture of the tribe. In addition, River Rock Casino uses LED lighting, biodegradable poker chips as well as FSC certified furniture throughout the resort. Visitors can enjoy their stay at the resort and also feel good about it.

GAME is an acronym that stands for gain an edge, activate brainpower, moderate behaviors and expand your network. This project is promote games beneficial to seniors' health. Games of skill, such as poker and chess, and games of chance, such as bingo and lottery, can benefit us as long as we play responsibly.
