Report on Giving C h oate Rose m ary Ha l l’ s f u ndra i s i ng efforts are foc u sed on endow m ent grow t h and t h e A nn u a l F u nd . Unrestricted gifts to our endowment are used at the direction of the Board of Trustees where the need is greatest. The endowment also receives restricted gifts in support of faculty development, financial aid, academic programs, and campus restoration and improvements. The Annual Fund supports current annual operations reducing the amount of endowment draw needed each year to maintain the excellent educational environment surrounding our students. This Report reflects outright gifts of cash and pledge payments received by the School between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012. We deeply appreciate the alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, corporations and foundations who have so generously demonstrated their commitment to Choate Rosemary Hall. Total annual and capital cash received in fiscal year 2011-2012 was $25,767,156. As part of that total, the Annual Fund met its goal by raising a total of $4.8 million from 4,762 donors, including $2.76 million from 3,893 alumni and $1.85 million from 790 parents, past parents, and grandparents. The following lists were compiled as accurately as possible from school records. Please contact AnnMarie Engstrom in the Development Office at aengstrom@choate.edu with any questions you may have.
