On one wet Sunday, a team from the Ferguson Club Ayrshire muck spreading division, went through to West Lothian to Bathgate to help out Club member Ralph Sibbald empty his midin.

We used four spreaders, one Ferguson spreader with a metal body, a Massey Harris and two Massey Ferguson 712s with wooden bodies.

The serial plates are very interesting on the wooden bodies, as each serial number starts with a letter before the number. We were thinking it was for the factory where they could have been manufactured. Your views are most welcome on serial plates.

Tractors that were used on the day were two FE35s, one MF35 4 cylinders, one MF35 3 cylinder and a MF135 with a loader.

All the guys involved had a greal day playing with our full scale toys. and are looking forward to the next day as midin is not fully empty yet.
