consumption. Food waste at home is a big problem that creates a lot of edible food that is unable to be consumed. A large proportion of food waste comes from the FOOD SPOILAGE that is decayed naturally within the limited shelf-life and being stored with the UNHEALTHY PRACTICE by people. SWCorp Federal Territory director Hazilah Gumri said a household of five spent an average of RM900/month on food and that a quarter of that food was wasted during preparation, cooking and usage. Literally, about RM225 goes into the dustbin EVERY MONTH, which comes out to RM2, 700 A YEAR.

The survey was carried out to investigate the habits and experiences of people from FOOD SPOILAGE at home kitchen with 50 RESPONDENTS in Malaysia. 1 Fruits and vegetables

Once the food is in contact with the air, it begins to lost its flavor and appearance, then undergoes food spoilage.

As in Malay culture, Congkak is for mental training without writing on paper, interacting with competitors to observe the steps during the process. Ultrasonic Food Washer

A futuristic food washer to concern about your food safety. Software Used: Sketchup + Keyshot

Ultrasonic is sound with frequency greater than the upper limit of human hearing (>20 kHz). Each pulse per second that emitted by ultrasonic cleaner provides cleaning action as it impacts the part surface due to its high frequency wave action. It normally lasts between 3-6 minutes to remove contaminants from food faster.
