Erickson Park is a 15-acre park with 400 ft of shoreline. Amenities include a handicapped-accessible boardwalk and pier perfect for fishing, a handicapped-accessible boat launch, a bike trail, and a bridge that connects Erickson and Irvine Parks.

A WORD FROM THE PRINCIPAL
The Chippewa Valley offers 83 miles of connected trails spanning 4 counties.



OLD ABE STATE TRAIL | 37 MILES Starting in Cornell, WI this is the most northern point of the trail system spanning from Brunet Island State Park to Lake Wissota State Park while following the banks of the Chippewa River. Visitors will love the natural landscape of tree-filled forests and farm fields. The trail is paved and open year-round. During winter, this section of trail is not groomed and perfect for fat biking or snowshoeing.
CHIPPEWA RIVER STATE TRAIL | 31 MILES Cyclists will begin this section at the confluence of the Chippewa and Eau Claire Rivers. This portion of the trail system begins in Downtown Eau Claire and concludes in the community of Durand. Visitors will find both paved and graded pathways as they continue their journey alongside the Chippewa River for 31 miles.
For 15 miles, this limestone screening surfaced trail offers diverse views of the Red Cedar River Valley landscapes. From the prairies and marshes to the forests, farmland, and sandstone bluffs, the trail user will enjoy this unique part of the Chippewa Valley Trail System.
RED CEDAR STATE TRAIL | 15 MILES
Bikers ages 16+ are required to have a State Trail Pass. Passes can be purchased at the Chippewa Falls Visitor Center & Spring Street Sports for $25/year or $5/day.

Two miles of trails through scenic terrain below the Wissota Dam. Paved and unpaved trails crisscross through the Reserve and provide great viewing opportunities of the Xcel Energy Dam.
