you are as much truth as you are fantasy. i can bring a man to the edge and i can push him over, but i could never say he jumped. i will spend the rest of my days with you on my shoulders.


breaking, everything breaking, but the light comes through. the light is coming through.


how can i tell who is a friend when all i can see are open hands on bodies as cold as ice? i was brewed in the flame. i came to release smoke, i came to burn it down.


i think i’m at it again. i can’t imagine a life better than this one, but i’ll build it. i can’t imagine being higher than this, yet i am still climbing.


i created my own space here. i take what i can get my hands on. i take anything i can stuff into the pockets of my jeans. i take what i think will go unnoticed. when you get here, let me know. when you get this far running on fumes, let me know.


you get out what you put in mom whispers into a rosary and i’m putting more in than i ever thought i could phone call send to voicemail i get just as much. this life: salvation, my own garden of eden why is she still calling doesn’t she know i’m the holy one i have no brothers. there is no cain
