Natural Lighting And Ventilation

Applied UBBL requirement the amount of natural lighting present is sufficient

According to UBBL 39 : Places pf business must be provided with source of natural sunlight that is not less than 10% of its total floor area. As for ventilation, the source of natural ventilation shall not be less that 5% of the total floor area.

According to UBBL 106: Dimension on stairs. On the basis of UBBL106, the staircase in the co-working space is in accordance with the dimensions mentioned in the report. The riser was 150mm and tread width is 300mm and both dimensions were constant in every step. The landing had a greater depth than the width of the stairs.

237.FIRE ALARMS

(1)Fire alarms shall be provided in accordance with the Tenth Schedule to these By-laws

2)All premises and buildings with gross floor area excluding car park and storage areas exceeding 9290 square metres or exceeding 30.5 metres in height shall be provided with a two-stage alarm system with evacuation (continuous signal) to be given immediately in the affected section of the premises while an alert (intermittent signal) be given in adjoining section
