CAM News April 2014

From the Director’s Corner Greetings: Happy spring! April is finally here & I hope to see warmer weather coming with it. Like Easter, spring is all about new life and new beginnings. In the month of April children will be learning about the arrival of baby animals, emerging amphibians, and budding flowers. Finally, concluding with an outdoor picnic. We are all looking forward to spending more time outdoors in our playground climbing, swinging, and playing games. Moving those muscles and appreciating outdoors in the springtime. Look for events like the Muscular Dystrophy Hop-A-Thon on the 14th. Lessons will reinforce what children have already learned about their bodies and will allow children the opportunity to give back and learn about the 3 A’s: Awareness, Acceptance, and Assistance to others. With the warmer weather approaching please remember to take home winter clothing. This is a great time to take stock at what is in your child’s cubby and swap out winter gear for spring appropriate clothing.
