Bhuttico
Bhuttico was a cluster in Shamshi District, Bhunter, Himachal Pradesh. The head weaving Master of this cluster is Om Prakash, NID takes an Initiative to revive these traditional shawls and hence works in alliance with this cluster. They provide files which further develops into sampling and improvement of those designs on the handloom in Bhuttico. Bhuttico was started in 1984 by Thakur Vedram with a buying share of Rs 13 in the share market and the factory is now worth in crores.
Bhuttico mostly focuses on the handloom and weaving done hence dyed yarns are sources from outside, Jaishree unit in Kolkata and Univearth being one of them. They work with Merino, Angora (sources from Mahadev unit in Sundernagar), Pashmina and Silk.

The price range solely depends on the designs of the shawls. A simple Kullu Shawl with borders start from Rs 1100 and can go up to Rs 20,000 with the increase of complexity of the design. The transitional fabric called Pattu is more costly and gets sold at Rs 22,000-23,000.
