R-Anell Homes understands the principle that the present and future of systems built homes must be prepared to address the needs and/or desires of our population to potentially remain in their home long term, with the potential of on-site additions in some cases. The population will have significant growth between the years 2010 and 2030 as the “baby boom” generation reaches age 65 causing a larger portion of the population to be of an age that would not be as inclined to move to another home if their current home met their needs. It is important to note the Projections of Population by Age taken from the January 2004 Census Internet Release: “By 2030 there will be about 71.5 million older persons, more than twice their number in 2000. People 65+ represented 12.4 percent of the population in the year 2000, but are expected to grow to be 20 percent of the population by 2030. The 85+ population is projected to increase from 4.6 million to 9.6 million in 2030.” Further, the Statistical Report of the President’s Committee on the Employment of People with Disabilities has indicated that 1 in 5 Americans has a disability, or nearly 20 percent of the population. On top of that the immigrant population is forecast to increase significantly. Another group that is prone to live in their home longer than our national average of 7 years With those thoughts in mind and these facts before us: Let us present you with your “Last” home. We wish you a wonderful stay.
