Use this handy guide on where to get the right advice or treatment when you need it. If you’re feeling unwell, don’t put off getting help.
GP practices are open and here to help: • When you contact your practice, a care navigator will ask you some questions. This is confidential and will help them to direct you to the right care. GP services
You may be offered a telephone or video appointment, a quick and safe way to deal with many minor health problems. • Face-to-face appointments are available for patients who need to be seen in person. • You’ll be treated by the best member of the healthcare team to meet your needs.
This won’t always be a GP, it could be a nurse, pharmacist or physiotherapist.

NHS 111

When you need urgent medical help but it’s not a life threatening situation, think NHS 111 first. Their team of trained clinicians and advisors are always on hand to offer health advice, or direct you to the right local health service if you’re not sure where to go.
