ANDENI Mayor Siphesihle Zulu announced last Tuesday, 8 November that the electrification of houses in the Vutha area will be completed as some houses were yet to receive electricity. Zulu made the announcement during an Integrated Development Plan (IDP) meeting which was held in the Nkomidli Sports Field in the Ndulinde area. “Today we are here to intro-
duce the contractor for this project and that is A1 Electrical and the implementing agent is Percy Mthembu of PSMT engineers. “They will give about 352 households electricity and the project should take about three months to be completed,” Zulu said. The mayor called on residents with illegal connections to stop making use of this because they would now be receiving electricity from Eskom. “As a municipality, we work
