FOLDING STOOL This design starts with only one word: fold. I began with several materials and some ways of folding. After making some models I decided to do an experimental folding design about the combination of leather and laser cut aluminum sheets. I laser cut 1/8“ thickness aluminum piece as the structure part of the folding stool and use leather as both the hinge and the cover. Because of the material combination and the special way of folding, this stool can be very thin and portable, but strong enough for an adult.
