De Cesari 33
The DeCesari 33 is a modern classic from the drawing board of Italian designer Giovanni Ceccarelli. Despite classic lines above the waterline, this is a thoroughly modern yacht with a square topped mainsail and bulb keel. Designed as a weekender, accommodation is modest but stylish while there has also been emphasis placed on ease of handling and manoeuvring. Construction is laminated mahogany with a teak deck. This wooden construction lends itself to the interior which fairly gleams with beautifully finished woodwork.

Pogo 40s4
French manufacturer Pogo has proven itself to be a dab hand at putting together both fast cruisers and full blooded racers. The new 40s4 definitely sits in the latter category and is an exciting yacht particularly because she boasts an innovative ‘scow bow’ of the type first seen on Mini Transats. The new boat differs from previous Class 40s launched by Pogo as she is designed by Guillaume Verdier as opposed to Finot-Conq, The launch of this first boat is scheduled for April time and has been designed with the Route du Rhum in mind. The first model has been reserved by noted racer Jean Galfione.
Solaris 60
Solaris Yachts seem to embody the absolute epitome of Italian boatbuilding being stylish and sleek with decent performance. The new 60 sits towards the top end of their range and this Soto Acebel design has been conceived as a ‘mini maxi’ that will be a strong performer on the offshore racing circuit while also remaining a luxurious and comfortable cruising yacht. Weight is a relatively modest 25,000kg but make no mistake, this is a very well appointed yacht when in cruising mode. As you’d expect, the lines are suitably striking.

Befoil 16
The Befoil 16 is a new foiler designed to be more accessible to newcomers to the game hungry for speed. This French 16 footer was drawn up in collaboration with VPLP who have real pedigree in this field. With its self-regulating T-foils, two load-bearing rudders and glass/epoxy hulls, the boatrpomises to be a lot of fun. You can use the boat in In trapeze sport mode, or in comfort mode with the optional ladders to make things a bit easier. The boat takes off from 8 knots and can reach up to 20 knots.

Neo 430 Roma
Neo 430 Roma is a cruiser/racer that definitely is somewhat more oriented toward the racing end of the market. This Ceccarelli design has been penned with a good rating under IRC the priority but can also perform well in ORCi and PHRF. The boat is intended to be a well rounded performer doing well in both in light and and stronger winds with great attention to the distribution of the volumes of the hull to produce a boat that is well balanced and easy to sail. The hull is wide, with the maximum beam carried right aft to maximize the righting moment from the crew weight. There is a choice of either a single rudder and a fixed keel or twin rudders and a lifting keel. This is as light boat at 5,700kg and she promises to be a flier.
