INTERVIEW

Krysten’s LOVES

Knitting. I’ve always found knitting so therapeutic. It’s the repetition, the feeling, the colour and the gradual reveal of something that, you hope at least, is both pretty and useful. Subscription boxes. I first got into these when doing some promo work, but I actually just really like the concept. They make brilliant presents but are also great to buy for yourself; it’s a way of discovering cool new products that you’d usually just let pass by. Snoo baby bed. An extravagance but one I couldn’t resist in order to give my little one the best night’s sleep I could.

HATES

Dressing up. Sure, I want to look smart and I don’t want to stand out for not making an effort, but the process of dressing a certain way and looking a certain way for an occasion, red-carpet event or because of some strange, outdated convention… that really gets to me. My laugh. Charlie Box in Daredevil pointed out the fact my laugh was… I think he said, “quite shocking”. I never knew this until then. Endless sequels. I think it’s the responsibility of all involved to know when something has reached the end of its lifespan, and that’s why at the end of season three of Jessica Jones I think a few people thought we had done enough with her to let the story go.
