f you’re craving the glamour and pampering that came with pre-baby life, then call off the search. For me, Four Seasons has become like an old friend, dependable, trustworthy and so very well-appointed – setting the bar high in every department. Set to be a Sunday of champions, I stopped by to see what the group’s most established hotel had in store. First stop: The Spa. Recently partnering up with two leading beauty brands, Linda Meredith and The Organic Pharmacy, it now provides three key treatments as part of its new signature menu. All treatments are set in penthouse-level spa rooms on the 10th floor literally taking you to new relaxation heights as you’re surrounded by impressive city views. I opted for the Organic Pharmacy Herbal Pouch Massage; 90 minutes of top-to-toe attention. Created to relieve aching joints and muscles with a hot pouch infused with organic herbs and oils of ginger and arnica, this massage struck the perfect balance between restoration and relaxation. The spa itself is a heavenly cocoon. I fully embraced the rejuvenating vitality pool, thermal suites and even caught 40 winks in the super-plush private sleep-pods. If you happen to be carrying precious cargo during your visit, be sure to indulge in The Organic Pharmacy Pre and Postnatal Treatment, designed to ease any niggles. Or for those seeking something more energetic, sweat it out at the Barrecore pop-up in the spa rooftop space TEN. Back down on the ground floor it was time to treat the palate. The hotel’s Amaranto Restaurant has launched a Sunday brunch, showcasing the finest British fare. Producing a real food-to-fork experience, starting with baked St Eve’s Farm egg shakshouka, followed by meatballs with roasted tomato sauce, not to forget free-flowing champagne. As I sank into my sumptuous arm chair, I thought, yes, I could get used to this. Sunday brunch, from £49 per person; Herbal Pouch Massage, from £175, fourseasons.com
