So my wonderful Cheeky Angels, what do you think of the new logo and new look? We are very excited about it all and our whole lives are consumed with the magazine and how we can improve it to bring you the best informative, exciting and interesting articles. There have been a few glitches behind the scenes with all three of us having energy shifts which has really affected us but nevertheless we are not ones to be beaten! Hi, I’m Mandy. I am part of the Cheeky Angels Team and the “normal one!” I am a wife and Mother to 2 boys, aged 18 & 6. I lead a very hectic life and have somehow obtained the nickname of the Energizer Bunny! I can’t think why…. I run my own business as a self employed hairdresser, am a tutor teaching Mediumship and Psychic development alongside doing public demonstrations. Hi, I’m Stella, I am the Aussie part of the team. I am a Wife and a Mum to my own three children (adults!), and adopted Mum to hundreds. I love to look after people and to make other people feel happy in their lives. I work as a Tarot Reader, in a few different places. TERRI SETTERINGTON Everyone has the ability to be psychic. Many people have experienced an extrasensory event but few acknowledge this fact, often passing it off as being a trick of the mind or the result of an overactive imagination. It seems that once these events start to become more regular that some inquisitive people will choose to explore their psychic side and develop their budding talent through workshops or spiritual circles. However, ability will often differ from one person to the next; some people purport to hear Spirit (Clairaudience), some feel Spirit (Clairsentience), and others may see Spirit (Clairvoyance), but imagine what a thrill it is to know the history of an inanimate object by simply holding it in your hand. This skill is Clairsentient in its very nature and widely known as psychometry. In essence, there are three areas of psychometry; object, person, or location. Object psychometry is by far, the most commonly practiced. An object can be read using one of three techniques: 1) The object is held in the palm of the hand 2) The object is held against the forehead and/or face 3) The object is placed against the solar plexus. These methods allow the psychometrist to sense the energy coming from said object. These specific parts of the body accommodate the Chakra centres that are most functional in sensory perception. Hans Holzer (1975) explored a theory that, “…

.” The most common way to practice psychometry is firstly to slow yourself down, as relaxation is the key to shifting your consciousness. When we achieve physical relaxation, we naturally relieve any emotional or mental tension and open up our higher state of self, which in turn will allow intuitive thought processes to flow. The easiest way to achieve a semi-meditative, relaxed state is through the correct use of deep breathing exercises. Breathing, although essential to life is an involuntary process that occurs without thought for the majority of people. When we start to think about the way that we breathe and as such begin to take control of the function, the body will automatically start to relax. Breathing should be rhythmic and always originate from the diaphragm, using both the nose and the mouth. Inhale through the nostrils, as the small hairs in the nasal passages serve to filter out any dust or particles and for that reason, the individual is less likely to cough and disturb their relaxation. Exhalation should be through the mouth. The psychometrist needs to be in a quiet room with all distractions minimised. The person they intend to read for should accompany them to this room and bring the object for the reading with them. The reader should sit in a comfortable chair with their head well supported; feet need to be flat on the floor, hands placed on the lap in a palmsup position and eyes closed. Start by inhaling a nasal breath over a 3-second period, hold it briefly then exhale slowly through the mouth for a full 6 seconds. Repeat this rhythmic breathing pattern and slowly the body will begin to relax. Once fully relaxed, the psychometry object is then placed into the reader’s hand. It is at this stage, when feeling the object enter the hand that the

psychometrist should begin to visualise a candle with a flickering flame against a dark background. Once the image is clear in the mind, allow the inner self to extinguish the flame with a quick, singular blow. As the flame goes out, the first thoughts that come into the mind should be spoken aloud. These words will directly relate to the object in the readers hand. Initially the words/thoughts may be confusing but with practice and over time, the skill will become honed and the reader will be able to understand the order and meaning, which will allow for clarity of intuitive thought. In the early stages of perfecting this psychic skill, it is important that the person presenting their psychometry object for a reading has knowledge of the history and ownership of the item (for instance, grandma’s ring or granddad’s wristwatch) and will be willing to discuss the information openly with the reader during the debrief period. This will allow the developing psychometrist to verify for their successful hits them self and therefore expand their confidence and experience. As the psychometrist becomes more proficient in their psychic ability, they will be able to move on to anonymous objects, thereby giving the owner information that they can take away and research. For many people psychometry continues to be one of the easiest psychic talents to develop. Through the act of psychic touch, an individual can become consciously aware of the historical circumstances that relate to the object or about the people that have owned or handled the item. The psychometrist will form impressions about the object and these may manifest in a variety of forms, but all will occur through the physical contact that the reader makes with the object. The four most common forms of impression are image, auditory, emotional or physical. Some psychometrist’s use one or a combination of these impressions. Mental imagery is self-explanatory, whereby the psychometrist will see pictures in their intuitive minds-eye and they will formulate their reading based on what they have seen. Auditory signals may come in the form of words and phrases or even random sounds, sometimes the reader will use their spirit guide to gather the information on their behalf. Emotional impressions are probably the easiest to receive as much of which is imprinted in or coated on the object will often relate to an emotionally charged time in the items history. The psychometrist will pick-up on the feelings either happy or sad, which will trigger intuitive thoughtprocesses to flow. Finally, physical impression occurs in a variety of ways. The reader may experience a change in temperature or tingling sensations. The object may vibrate, or the psychometrist may experience pain, nausea, or symptoms that directly relate to a medical or physical condition that the deceased, earlier owner had in life. With all forms of psychism, development and practice are essential in order to become an effective psychometrist. This skill will enhance the use of the ‘five senses’ and retrain an individual to look at life and people from all levels of consciousness and not just from what is seen by the naked eye.

It is usually done with 2 – 6 people and works best if one or more of those people are Spirit Medium’s and it works better if the Medium is a Physical Medium (that is able to produce physical evidence of Spirit). This is because they are able to reach a higher vibration in order to communicate with Spirit.

I went to look at a house in a view to rent. It was perfect, the bathroom was on the top floor with a nice wooden cupboard little did I know what was behind it when I moved in. I went upstairs and I opened the cupboard, it was then that it all started. I felt something walk through me and I thought nothing of it at the time but when I went to sleep that night I felt something laying upon me and I could not speak or move. The next night I slept in another bedroom and it happened again. I moved to several rooms with the same occurrence. My partner at the time had a hip replacement and could not make it upstairs so I decided to sleep downstairs with her. The white gown represents the purity of the situation, a new situation that is yet to be explored and the red gown shows that the person in question has experience & knowledge to back them up. He is much wiser than the previous card of the Fool, who rushes ahead blindly toward his objective. The Magician stands at a table which contains all of the suits of the tarot deck (earth, air, fire and water) which shows that he is equipped fully to reach his goal, if he uses all of the resources available to him, body, mind, heart and soul. He is standing holding a staff that is pointed up toward the sky with a symbol of eternity above his head and his other hand pointing down towards the Earth. This shows that he is able to channel the energy from the vast universe to manifest his desires upon the Earth plane. There is of course a warning with the Magician. He stands in a bed of flowers, but intertwined with the pretty

flowers are thorny roses, which whilst beautiful hold danger. This is a reminder that it is easy to become overconfident when things are going your way so easily. It is a reminder that you should be careful that you do not become arrogant and big headed in your success. It is also a reminder that with over confidence it is easy to be swayed along a path that will lead to your destruction. It is important to keep your intellect intact at all times and to know fully what is the outcome that you desire, so as not to be mislead and swayed from your path by somebody underhanded and manipulative. It is always important to keep our wits about us and to keep ourselves grounded in any venture that we undertake. It is possible to achieve great heights, as long as our feet remain firmly on the ground and our head remains out of the clouds. One more reminder of the Magician is that when we are using our skills to our best advantage, and we come to a standstill, it is important to stop and reassess that we are actually using all of the skills that we possess in order to achieve the best outcome. Do not focus entirely on the most obvious, but dig deeper within ourselves for all the knowledge that may be useful in the current situation. I have read many stories based about the Major Arcana and it is interesting how people interpret. You see you could have ‘The Fool’ as the main character who visit’s each Major Arcana or of course ‘The Fool’ could morph into any of these Major Arcana. I like to think that it is ‘The Fool’s’ journey and he is visiting the Magician for advice on how to move forward on his journey. When I pull this card I always have the immortal words of Sir Winston Churchill in my head: ' '. Of course this was about winning World War 2 but if you look at it the Magician always has tools around him so he can magically complete what he

needs to do. It reminds us that we can make our own miracles happen if we try - you have the power within you to do whatever you want to do but you need to believe that you can. If you don’t believe it how can you expect anyone else to. It reminds me actually of that itchy nose in Bewitched - she just twitched her nose and hey presto! You can do that too - not necessarily in the same way and as quick as her but you still have the power within you. Magician’s are also illusionists and this is a powerful trait as it demonstrates that you may want people to see something one way but actually it is another - a bit like the Trojan Horse in Greek Mythology where the Greeks used to enter the city of Troy and end the conflict. I know there’s a theme going on here with wars and it wasn’t actually meant like that! But when the Magician shows up it could also mean that you are pretending that something is ok or someone else is not being true to themselves. It is all for show and part of the illusion. It is just a warning that perhaps not everything is as it should seem perhaps but of course, it all depends on where the Magician lays in the spread and the other cards around it, as well as using your intuition. Again if we look at different types of Magic - look at Houdini who was a very skilful lock picker and escape artist so again, we can interpret the magician in that you are able to escape quickly from difficult situations. Again, what that situation is depends on where it sits in the card spread but it could mean that you use your intuition and escape from love situations, arguments and fights etc etc… Of course don’t forget that Psychics & Mediums were seen as Magicians back in the olden days!

for me the magician card is as the name suggests, is about magic - it’s about miracles and the opportunities of revealing hidden gems in our life, quite literally pulling a rabbit out of a hat. My question is regarding tarot cards. I understand what the individual cards mean, but I can't understand how to read the cards all together. How do I connect the cards together rather than just understanding them individually? Thankyou kindly Tanya

Thank you for your question; it is a common question that a lot of learners would share. Once you have learnt the basic meanings for each of the cards it can seem impossible to read them with any sense of flow. The problem stems from the belief that each card has a set meaning and that this meaning cannot be changed, in which case your readings will be very stop/start and not seem to flow very well at all. It is a big step when you are learning the cards but it is necessary that you try not to concentrate too much on the stated meanings that are given to each card, but in fact try to rely more on what you are feeling/ sensing / hearing when you are giving the reading. For example: You may have pulled out of the pack, the 2 of pentacles, the fool and the Page of swords: The Two of Pentacles represents a time in your life where you are doing very well, you are able to sustain all of your wants and needs through the work that you are doing. You are happy with the way things are going and can carry on working and also enjoying your life with a sense of security that things are not going to deteriorate and leave you wanting. The Fool represents a time of moving into something new without too much thought, irrational decisions without much forethought as to the outcome of actions. Stepping out into an unknown area, having all of your skills and abilities with you, but letting excitement move you rather than rational or logical thought.

person is doing very well for themselves and are in a position where everything seems to be going according to plan but that the situation lacks a challenge and the excitement of something new. In comes the energy of the fool with his need for adventure without thought and the person is swept up in the excitement of plans to make changes and ready to accept new challenges. The page of swords is there as a reminder that excitement is short lived when reality kicks back in and that there is a need to listen and learn from the people who are more experienced in the situation you are undertaking, otherwise disappointment and failure may follow. So this simple three card spread would, in a nutshell, suggest that somebody who is very successful may decide to take on new ventures, and eagerly step ahead into an unknown area of expertise, but it carries the warning to make up for the shortfall in their own expertise by surrounding themselves with the right people to get the job done. If they leave arrogance behind and accept advice they will do well, but if they rush ahead as if they are indestructible, they will find out very quickly just how wrong they can be.

The Page of Swords represents somebody who is full of ideas and big plans for the future. Excitement again leads the way with this card, although the Page will ask the right questions of the right people, he will often move ahead too quickly without waiting for the correct answer. He is full of excitement but this directed towards the new project, he may become bored very easily as time goes by but if he mixes with the right people and takes his time he will succeed in his endeavours. When reading these three cards, it would be a little confusing as to why with the first card that is showing success would somebody take the irrational move to leap into something new with the fool card, and backed up with the page of swords. When you use your intuition to assist you in the reading, you may find that the person is rather bored by the monotony of the initial situation, yes the

I have a friend who is kind and generous of Spirit. She is the person who will see somebody random in the shopping centre, who is struggling with their load, and she will offer to assist them. She is the person who will see somebody stumble and run to their aid. On numerous occasions I have seen her take time out of the things she is doing to drive people to their homes because it is too warm for them outside or because they have come over faint. She does not realise what a special person she is, and she does not look for any kind of praise or Thanks in the things that she does for others. I think it is important to let her know that she is appreciated, and whilst it may not be a huge thing to her it is a great big wonder to the people that she assists. Having your children engage with Angels on a daily or weekly basis will help them familiarize themselves with their Guardian Angel and Archangels. One of the best ways to engage your children is having them write a letter to their Angels. The letter can be a letter of gratitude, a prayer letter or it can be a request to help them with something going on in their life. There is no formal way to write the letter so have your children write any way they are guided to. You can have an Angel box in your home where your children can place the letter so there is a safe and private place for the letters. Have some fun with your children and have them decorate their Angel box; spend an evening or afternoon with some craft supplies and have them express themselves while creating their Angel box. Having your child express their individuality is a great way to open up their creativity and their connection with Angels. his story is about my journey on my spiritual path, a path that I sometimes tried to avoid, but that I was swiftly, one way or the other, brought back to relentlessly. I have always had a interest in spiritual matters and been fascinated by the reality that there is a life after physical death, that souls carry on and can return to confirm that they are well and very much alive in a different sense. As a teen, I pursued knowledge of Ghosties and Ghouls. I devoured stories of spirit sightings and mediums or all kinds. I would attend my local Spiritual Church on a Sunday night and whilst I was not a ‘religious’ person, I did love the platform medium every week, and the healing that occurred after the service. In my twenties I bought my first deck of Tarot cards and proceeded to try to ‘read’ them. This was a disaster, the cards were not for me, and I could not make sense of anything, even with the help of the book that came with them. If nothing else, I am persistent, and after the purchase of about 5 or 6 different decks of cards, I finally found one that I fell instantly in love with, the cards that I still use today, ‘The Mythic Tarot’. The story of the deck is based on Greek Mythology and they have lovely pictures on each of the cards. My real journey had begun….. I also became a Reiki Master in the year 2004. Once I was proficient in giving useful information with a card reading, Spirit made sure I would follow this path and put me in a position to be of assistance to others with my readings. I actually had gone to a new age shop to see if they were looking for a healer, only to be told that they were not, however they did need a reader. I was with my Sister in law, who

departed from my mind, I had my children to bring up, my hubby was running his own business and I would do his bookwork and my job to keep me busy. In order to get up the mountain, I needed to drive up a very steep and windy road, with hairpin bends and long drops at the side of the road. I would travel this road way too fast, feeling as if I were familiar enough with the curves in the road for safety at great speed. One day I was on my way up the mountain and I glanced at one point over the edge of the cliff as I drove past and suddenly into my head came a picture of me in my car rolling down the face of the cliff. I remember thinking at the time “ ” and then carrying on up the hill with a shudder I thought nothing more of it. It was approximately two or three weeks later that I was on my way to work up the mountain again. It had been raining lightly that morning and there were a lot of leaves on the wet road. Today, because of the weather and road conditions, I was driving very sensibly, keeping to the speed limits as I took my journey up the hill. I rounded a sharp corner that then went straight into another corner in the opposite direction, as I finished turning into the first corner and started to turn my steering wheel in the other direction, the back of my car did not follow and continued to swing out and steer me towards the cliff face at about 60km / hour. At this point I have to admit, I did panic and I pushed my foot on the brake, although to this day I am not sure, but can only think that I hit the accelerator instead of the brake as that wall of rock seemed to be coming at me at great speed. I turned my steering wheel fiercely in the other direction and suddenly I was moving away from the rock face. However, over-steer would be a slight understatement at this point, and my car did a complete 180 degree turn and was now facing down the hill instead of up the hill and worse to come, the bonnet and

It is not your time you will be alright, just hold on! suddenly said to the shop owner that “ ” Well, there I was on the spot and as nervous as anything, but figuring that this was meant to be, so I had better take the opportunity whilst it was there. I stayed at the shop for a number of years giving readings and getting to know some of the spiritual community that was local to me. I loved my new job, I felt useful and I loved the interaction with lots of different people. At one stage, life got in the way and I needed to go and get a job that would pay regular money to help pay the bills and not just the sporadic money that came with readings. My other love in this world is cooking, and I took a position of a cook in a little café that used to be up Mount Tambourine in Queensland, Australia. The building is still there today, but it is a different place now, the original owners have moved on and retired. I also found that I loved this job, it was hot and hectic and stressful but I loved it, I was feeding the masses from a little tiny, ill equipped kitchen in a very old building but I was in my element. So busy was I, that all thoughts of my spiritual journey had

front drivers wheel were nearly going over the edge of the cliff, still at great speed. I remember at this point having a flashback to the incident a couple of weeks before where I had seen my car down the cliff face and the sudden realisation that it has been a premonition closely followed by an expletive and then talking to whoever would be listening and saying that my work was not done yet, my children still needed me, my husband would miss me and that I was not ready to pass! Yes your life really does flash before your eyes in the moments before you prepare to die. The front of the car started to tip and yet I felt suddenly calm, all panic was gone and a beautiful feeling of serenity came over me, a voice in my head with the picture of a beautiful soul came to me and the voice said, “ ” Well, who was I to argue with such a comforting and authoritive voice and feeling. I grabbed the steering wheel as firmly as I could with my arms straight and my feet pushed to the floor with my legs straight and my body pushed as far into the car seat as was humanly possible and I braced as the car took the first roll. The car and I rolled about 5 times down that hill, and at one stage I remember something hitting my head very hard and thinking that if that did not kill me nothing would! The car suddenly stopped abruptly, engine still running. I turned it off and removed the keys, confirmed with myself that I was not moving anymore and proceeded to try to get myself out of the car. Well the driver’s door was jammed by a tree so I had to climb over the seats to get out of the passenger door. I managed this and looked up, I had rolled down at least 20 meters of almost sheer rock face and the car was wedged now between some huge rocks and some trees. There were people at the top, on the road, who had seen the accident and they called the ambulance and stayed with me. I was very lucky that day. My Angel was with me and reassured me to not panic but to hold on, I am not sure how I would have reacted without that comfort but I am glad that I had the protection and assistance from such a beautiful being. Since that day, I have gone back to giving readings for people and doing healings, because I have been left with a chronic condition myself, fibromyalgia. I am not able to do any other form of work because my body is not able to sustain anything for too long. I walked away from the accident with whiplash and nothing else, unfortunately the accident is probably what triggered the fibromyalgia, but whilst I do suffer at times, I do not feel ‘ ’. I embrace the knowledge that Spirit and the Angels wanted me to come back to assisting others with beautiful connections and validation from them to their loved ones here on Earth. I have learnt a lot from having a chronic pain condition, I have more compassion for others, and an understanding of mood swings and a multitude of different conditions that people have to go through in their daily lives, and I feel in the long run that it has made me a better person, and definitely a better reader, and much more understanding and compassionate of others. Today, I do readings wherever I possibly can and I also give healings and teach Reiki to others. Of course my most recent venture is being part of this magazine and I feel blessed to have so many other people involved in the venture with Mandy, Joanne and Myself, bringing knowledge to all of our beautiful readers. More than 4,000 years ago, the people of the Neolithic period decided to build a massive monument using earth, timber and eventually, stones, placing it high on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, about 137 kilometres southwest of London. Why anyone ever decided to build Stonehenge remains a mystery, with theories ranging from religion to astronomy. Some of what was Stonehenge still stands today, as mysterious and sacred as it must have been to the hundreds of people who helped build the site. The stones of the main monument appear to form layers of circles and horseshoe patterns that slowly enclose the site. First, there is an outer stone circle, now mostly in ruin. Within this are a smaller set of stones, also set in a circle. Within the centre of the monument are trilithons -- two pillar stones with one stone on top -- in the shape of a horseshoe. Within this is another smaller set of stones, also in a horseshoe. It is a monument made of more than just rocks. There is the henge, or a ditch and bank, that surrounds the stone circle. There is also a laneway that extends from the northeast side of the monument from the open horseshoe to the River Avon, a few kilometres away. Several stones mark this laneway, just outside the henge of the monument. Jutting out from the green landscape of the English countryside, the circles of stones and outlying monuments emit a power that must have been ingrained in the site itself. But it is a magnetism that can't be explained by architecture alone. Much of Stonehenge's intrigue stems from the fact that the stones are so shrouded in mystery, a characteristic that is magnified by its age. Stonehenge was constructed in three phases, over a 2,000 year period between 3000 BCE and 1400 BCE. Erosion, time and human invasion has worn it down, leaving many of the stones in stumps similar to a set of baby teeth. Although the site may not be as majestic as it once was, it still conveys a sense of power that seems to enclose people in its mystery, allowing no one to escape from the riddle of its purpose. Today, there is enough left of Stonehenge to speculate on its purpose, but not enough to say for sure why or how it was constructed. Astronomers, archaeologists and historians continue to debate theories on its construction and purpose, but the only thing that can be said for certain is a description of what still exists today. On the outside of the main monument is a circle of 17 sarsen stones, or sandstones, left from a set of about 30. These rocks stand four metres high and weigh about 25 tonnes each. Some of them still retain their lintels, which would have been secured in a type of tongue-and-groove slot. Within this is a larger sarsen stone horseshoe in the middle of the monument. There are remnants of what would have been five sets of two stones with a lintel on top -- called a trilithon after the Greek word for three stones. The tallest of these upright sarsen stones is about 7 metres tall with lintel, acting as a reminder that the word sarsen comes from " ", meaning heathenish, foreign and vaguely satanic. Some of the most interesting theories still being generated about Stonehenge have to do with the

bluestones, the small rocks set in a circle between the sarsen stone circle and sarsen stone horseshoe. Originally, there may have been as many as 60, but only a few stand today, two of which are believed to be lintels. A bluestone horseshoe can also be found within the large sarsen stone horseshoe, which would have originally been made up of 19 stones. Again, few of these are left. The stones were placed in such a way that they increased in size towards the centre and alternated in shape between tall, thin pillar-like stones and stones of a tapering obelisk shape. These bluestones, now severely weathered and covered in lichen, may not appear blue but if freshly broken, most would have a slaty-blue colour. There are five colour variations represented in the bluestones found at Stonehenge. Some contain crystals that have given them a different shade when broken, such as the spotted dolerite, named for its pink crystals, which emits a pinkish hue. Within the bluestone horseshoe is the Altar stone -- a blue-grey stone from the shores of Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire. It may have once stood upright but now lays underneath one of the great sarsen trilithons, and is about five metres long. Many other stones, of more historical and astronomical importance, also mark the site. One of the most intriguing is the "Heel stone." It stands along a laneway, known as the Avenue, that extends from the open horseshoe, on the northeast corner of the monument and down toward the River Avon, two kilometres away. Along the Avenue, closer to the stone circles, is the "Slaughter Stone" that may have once been part of a pair of stones, forming a gate to the main monument. Shaped around the stone circles are two pillar stones, known as the "Station Stones." Originally there would have been four, placed in the shape of a rectangle. A bank-and-ditch, or the henge of the monument, circles the main monument at about 91 metres in diameter. On the inside boundary of the henge are 56 pits, known as "Aubrey Holes" that can barely be seen. Closer to the stone circles are two other sets of pits, called "Z" and "Y" holes. These were the last additions to the monument and may have been carved out to accommodate more bluestones, but now lay empty. All of the stones were brought far distances to Salisbury Plain, using only muscle and primitive tools, like ropes and wooden levers. The sarsen stones are believed to have been brought from Marlborough Downs, 30 kilometres to the north of Stonehenge, which is a feat incomparable by today's standards. But even more intriguing than this is the mystery of the bluestones. They are believed to have come from the Preseli Mountains in southwest Wales, nearly 385 kilometres away. How these stones, each weighing four tonnes, arrived at Stonehenge is still debated. But regardless of how they came to the site, it appears to have required much effort in a time before the invention of the wheel. Clearly, a lot of trouble was taken by the builders to put those things up -- and some of the stones were brought from a long way away, Which also, incidentally, signifies how important that spot on Salisbury Plain must be if they went to all that trouble to get those stones to that particular place. druids, were found camping illegally and digging latrines in the landscape. Yet, they are allowed to worship a few days later on midsummer's day. There are 36 Druid groups in England alone. It's practiced by several faiths, ranging from Catholics to Jews and encompasses a wide scope of people, from office workers to ecomagicians. All this diversity is made possible by the fact that Druidry is so diverse. Its possible to believe in any Gods, many Gods, one God or no God and still be a Druid.

Druidry, an Earth-based ancestor religion, has been linked with Stonehenge for hundreds of years. The core of this spiritual philosophy lies in the quest for inspiration or Awen, meaning "the flowing spirit," that brings many to worship at stone circles like Stonehenge. But what is the origin of the bond between Druid and this stone monument? John Aubrey, a 17th century British antiquary, was the first to suggest that the Druids were the ones who built Stonehenge -- a theory which has since been discounted. Many experts believe Druids came from a Celtic religion not present in England until 2,000 years after Stonehenge was built, and maybe already in ruin. Some of the modern-day druids make eight pilgrimages to Stonehenge a year to celebrate the turning of the year and the changing seasons. However, not all druids worship at Stonehenge. Some would rather practice on a hilltop rather than at a human constructed site. In part, it's a way of getting back to a relationship with the Earth that most people in industrial societies have lost. However, most Druids have been banned from worshipping at Stonehenge during the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. Authorities suppressed the festival in 1978 after people, not necessarily

Well here we are coming up to the Summer Solstice, and enjoying an issue of Cheeky Angels which is putting focus on this festival. When I was asked if I wanted to write something in line with the Solstice theme, I had a little think and became inspired by the landscape around me and thought I would share it with you. When we think of Solstice days and special times of the year, we envision gatherings, celebrations and times of festivities at communal sites, held sacred by many due to their longstanding beauty, mystery and the awe they inspire, namely standing stones and stone circles for us in the UK. Fortunately for me, I live in the centre of Aberdeenshire in Scotland, and a landscape littered with stone circles, 99 on record! Our stone circles are know as recumbent stone circles and are particular as they are only found in this area of Scotland and South West Ireland respectively. A recumbent circle always has a large slab, laid recumbent (reclined, horizontal) and levelled, with tall, flanking stones at either side. To any who sees them, this organisation of stones creates the appearance of a mighty alter, a platform, or for some a representation of the horizon - to view the major standstill moon in the southern sky, occurring every 18 & half years. Though we cannot know for sure just exactly what the purpose of such circles were for, in researching the recumbent circles of the North East, I discovered a few things: 1) that they are often found in good farmland, 2) they are usually near hilltops 3) specially selected stones such as red jasper for example would be transported from a good distance to form part of the circles and 4) many are clustered round the hill range know as Bennac hie. What, for me at

least, becomes interesting is that Bennachie translates from the Gaelic for ‘hill of the breast’, and is believed to have held a religious significance to the Bronze Age inhabitants, those thought to have painstakingly built the circles, who lived in the shadow of this mountain form of fertility and farmed its land. For me, while visiting the stone circle known as Easter Aquhorthies,by Inverurie (believed by some to mean field of prayers) my mind’s eye could clearly vision the gathering of the fruits of labour and a sharing, celebration of thanks in the sight of the ‘Mither Tap’(mother top/tap) of Bennachie, a reverence of mother nature. Amongst the stones, wonders the shadows of the past and faint dreamy images of those giving praise, seeking solitude and harmony in times of unrest, and the apprehensions of a good harvest. In contrast to the peace and comfort of one circle can lay the sadness of another, as the times changed, though some circles remained as they ever were, others became the burial sites, monuments of a communities grief and battered by the passage of time. At the circle called Loanhead of Daviot, in Daviot, we are confronted with, a broken flanking stone; cleaved recumbent stone, the remnants of cairns (stone plies containing burial remains) and a low walled cremation cemetery, where over 30 cremated humans were excavated. I could feel the tightness in my chest in this unsettled space and the wisps of mourners sombrely walking through, and was compelled to say a prayer to bring light to the dark and love to the silence of the long forgotten. Though it may always remain unclear as to their precise beginnings and purpose, a spiritual significance and value for many will always be placed upon these sites across the UK, some thankfully better preserves than others. We will individually create of these places what we so wish them to mean and take from them the constant chance of reflection. For as long as they continue to inspire our minds to the magic and mystery of life, awaken our internal ancestral memories, and turn our hearts toward community and the desire to recognise working with cycles of nature and the earth- the same earth, that landscape of those very early settlers, which continues to support and sustain our lives and livelihoods to this very day, we will be driven to convene upon them in joy and celebration.

After all, electrical lighting has been a way of life for us for a long time, providing us with flip-of-a-switch levels of light that used to be the sole preserve of the sun. And yet, ancient traditions, symbols and subtle planetary energy shifts continue to play an important, albeit often secret, or hidden role in our modern lives. Look at what happened to the Winter Solstice. Celebrated with great reverence and revelry for thousands of years in the Northern Hemisphere; it has merged— some would say morphed-- into the celebration of the Son (Sun) of God’s birthday, more popularly known as Christmas. Ask modern retailers how important Christmas is to them. The Summer Solstice is the time when the sun reaches its farthest point north of the equator. This year’s Summer Solstice will take place on June 21. The Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year; the day when the sun’s energy is strongest. Within 24 hours of the Summer Solstice, the sun’s energy begins to weaken, however, and the days begin to grow shorter and darker until the Winter Solstice around December 20 or December 21, at which time the sun’s energy is “reborn” and begins to increase in strength daily as the days lengthen for the next six months. The cycle of the physical sun’s birth and death is just one of the cycles and associations that is linked to the solstices. The word solstice comes from the Latin word solstitium, derived from sol (sun) and stitium (to stop). There is a tradition that began early in Christianity and that continues mostly in esoteric philosophies today that depicts Christ as the Spiritual Sun, the illuminator of the soul, the light of God, the source of order, and the giver of life. According to this tradition, the Summer Solstice corresponds to the death of Jesus, just as the Winter Solstice corresponds to the birth of Jesus. The human life cycle of birth, youth, maturity, old age and death has been correlated with the sun’s daily cycle. The sun rises in the east (the

direction the wise men came from to honor Jesus at his birth) and symbolizes human birth. It moves clockwise to the south, which represents human maturity/adult phase and then proceeds to the west, where it sets, and represents human aging and death. This is the part of the human life cycle that correlates to the Summer Solstice. The north represents the darkness of the womb during the nine months of gestation prior to the physical birth of a human being. Midsummer is considered to be the time on or around the Summer Solstice (June 21 through June 24) that has a rich European history of customs and celebrations, both Christian and pre-Christian (Pagan). Midsummer is especially important in Scandinavia, Finland and the Baltics, where it is the most important holy day/holiday other than Christmas. One of the best known of these Midsummer celebrations in the Christian era is the June 24 celebration of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. It is actually a public holiday in Quebec and is a high ranking liturgical feast in the Roman Catholic, Anglican and Lutheran traditions. St. John’s day is also one of the two most important days celebrated in the Masonic traditions of Freemasonry. In some parts of the world, St. John’s Eve fires are burned on June 24. These have obvious links with Pagan Midsummer celebrations. Summer Solstice and Midsummer folklore and folk traditions abound. I share just one of them in this article. One of the names given to the moon of Midsummer (which always falls in June) is the Honey Moon. This is because at that time of year in Europe, beehives were bursting with honey, which was gathered and fermented to create an alcoholic beverage called mead. Mead was the beverage of choice for wedding parties and was rumored to be an aphrodisiac.

Though accounts of their birth are varied, they are sometimes said to have been born from an egg, along with their twin sisters Helen of Troy (also known as Aphrodite) and Clytemnestra. Legend also states that when Castor was killed, Pollux (who is immortal) asked his father, Zeus to let him share his immortality with his twin in order to keep them together. This was granted and they were transformed into the constellation Gemini. Gemini’s are Air signs and star signs who have this element often appear detached, aloof, remote, cool. Well it’s going to be a bit of a funny month this month in the fact that there are going to be a lot of unexpected things happening but it is all part of a new beginning. Luna. She’s the original night duty nurse. She’s the original stereotypical female. She’s the one heavenly body that can drive humans to madness. She’s the original nurturing Goddess of our emotions and the guardian of our feelings, too. She’s the high galactic representative of the Feminine. Stone cold, she reflects ever moving energy and time and position in the 360 degrees of the Zodiac. This issue is about the Summer Solstice which will be occurring in the Northern Hemisphere, while here in Australia in the Southern Hemisphere, we will be experiencing the opposite, the Winter Solstice! The word ‘Solstice’ derives from the Latin meaning ‘ . So for us here in Oz on June 21, it will mark the dark day of winter when the sun is lowest on the horizon and it is a moment when the Earth’s rhythms tell us to pause, to be present in the darkness and take stock of our lives. It is the great stillness before the Sun’s strength builds and days grow longer, a time to rest and reflect, in which new life can then eventually emerge from the darkness. Whether you are celebrating either the Summer or Winter Solstice, this will be the midpoint within this transformational year and a great opportunity to evaluate what the first six months have presented to you and how you have prevailed, how you have weathered the storms of ascension. Here are some thoughts you may like to ask yourself, to gain insight to the pieces of the puzzle we call our life: How have your expanded your sense of self, how have you learnt to deal with things differently, has the way you perceive things altered, how have you been able to integrate the new energies and light codes physically and spiritually, have you achieved any goals that you had set, are you where you had envisioned for yourself, what changes have occurred, have those changes been chosen or forced, have you found yourself in new circumstances or surrounded by different people and the list can go on and can be as diverse as we are, depending on what we are willing to question about our lives? 1 green Candle 1 bay leaf (dried) 1 piece of hematite Olive Oil for anointing the candle A paperclip to carve symbols into the candle 1 permanent Marker to write on the bay leaf 1 saucer

First write with the permanent marker the word ‘abundance’ onto the bay leaf. Place the leaf onto the saucer. Next wash your piece of hematite under running water to cleanse it, then holding the crystal up to your third eye close your eyes and visualise all forms of abundance being attracted and drawn to you by the hematite. Take a few minutes in your visualisation and when you are ready, place the hematite on the saucer with the bay leaf. You should now take your paperclip and pull it open enough that you can use the end of it to carve the word abundance into the candle. Next you will need to anoint your candle with the olive oil. As you wish to draw abundance toward you, you should start at the top of the candle and rub the oil in one direction down to the middle of the candle, then turn the candle over and do the same from the bottom of the candle to the middle of the candle. Now light the candle and allow a few drops of hot wax to drop onto the plate in order to stand the candle up in the hot wax. Once the candle is free standing, pick up your bay leaf and holding it on one end only allow it to catch light from the candle flame and then place it on the plate to continue to burn until it goes out on its own. Leave the candle alight to set your wish.

You are an amazingly wise person; you have intuition that encompasses the whole universe of knowledge. This knowledge is readily available to you upon request and especially through quiet meditation, and the more you call on this wonderful source of knowledge the more it becomes available at other times. Just a short 20 – 30 minute meditation every day or every other day is enough to get in touch with this glory box of knowledge. Meditation also helps to lower blood pressure, ease stress levels and assist with all round good general health. Intuition is the voice or the feeling that you have that tells you where you will find the random item that seems to have escaped your vision for the moment. Often intuition is mistakenly thought to be spirit contact, or angelic contact. But that is because we are insecure beings when it comes to the idea that we are powerful beyond our imagination, and that we might actually have the ability to take the information directly from the universal consciousness ourselves. However, We. Are. Just. That. Good!! Each of us is in essence a being of energy, energy that forms individual souls, but linked and connected to the whole mass of energy that IS the Universe. We are all joined and we are all one. Think of the cells in your body, each cell is individual but each cell is part of you, each cell knows its place in your body and each cell can act according to the needs of the whole body. This is how we are in relation to each other within the Universe. Each individual but each part of the same whole AND each of us has the ability to do what is right for the whole on an individual level and to seek knowledge from another individual part of the whole. Have you ever experienced déjà vu? Have you ever been to a place or experienced an event in complete surety that you have never been there or experienced that event previously, and yet it all seems so familiar to you? This could be the result of your higher self having shown you, subconsciously, the experience in a dream or meditation previously and yet consciously you cannot remember that event, so when you are actually going through the experience, that is why it seems to be familiar to you. When that happens, and it is not often that it does in most cases, then it is probably a very good idea to take a mental note of what is also occurring at the same time or what is around you that is perhaps relevant to another part of your life, and you may find that you answer some questions that have been bothering you, and your higher self (intuition) has given you this advance clue so that you are aware to take notice. There is often a mistaken idea that somebody who is a professional Medium / Clairvoyant / Psychic is somehow a’bove’ or ‘better’ than everybody else, and the professional can sometimes be raised up to a position of some type of ‘Guru’ with ‘followers’ who hang on their every word. It is important to remember that sometimes, professionals can also be unethical people, and that they can encourage this behaviour because it gives them a place in the limelight and some form of ‘star status’. These unethical professionals will lead you to believe that because they are in direct contact with the spirit world that they have information that you do not have access to, or that they have been told by spirit the correct and only way to do a particular thing, which is deceitful and disrespectful to you, as an individual part of the generous universe with unlimited knowledge at your disposal. You will find, when you get back to basics with any good spiritual teacher, that you will be told that the answers lay within YOU, yes YOU. A medium/clairvoyant/psychic can put you in touch with your loved ones who are in spirit and pass on messages from them to give you validation that life goes on even after physical death. This is not necessarily easy for everybody to do; however, given enough time, patience and practice most of us can achieve this in one way or another. First though, there is a need to find and get in touch with your higher self, and learn to trust the information that is passed over to you, then come

your guides, whom you can also meet through the practice of meditation and eventually, when you have enough confidence in yourself and have worked hard enough with your guides to accept the information given you may find you have reached a level of experience whereby you can make contact with your own loved ones as well as the loved ones of others who have passed on from this earth realm. If you achieve this connection, you will realise that where spirit are concerned, it is not important for them to tell you where to find your hidden remote control, or which shop to go to in order to purchase the DVD that has been sold out everywhere else, this kind of information is something that you obtain from your own intuition or higher self, even if that means that you subconsciously access your memory banks as to where you last saw that remote control!! Spirit would much rather pass on information to you that involves love and happiness, things that confirm that they are still around you and part of your everyday life. They will relay information as to how they like your new haircut, or that they saw you trying to change the car tire and that they were giggling at you as you got frustrated. If you are in a position of danger, you may get Angelic help without asking, you may find that you get a very clear verbal warning in your head, or you find yourself suddenly not standing in the same place as you were a second before when a heavy object comes crashing down that would have crushed you should you have still be standing there. This is how spirit interacts with us. In everything we do, we have free will; we are the masters of our own lives and our own destinies. We are in the driving seat to discover our own way home, home to the universal whole. We are here on the earth plane to learn hard lessons as well as lessons such as love and compassion and understanding. Sometimes we can only learn the lessons of love and compassion by going through very difficult situations that push us to our limits, but if we accept situations to be what they are, and we allow and learn each lesson as it is presented, then we can move through these difficult situations from a place of love and light. There are many negative things that happen to us, we are human and we are expected to be emotional beings. Do not fight the anger, the hurt, or feelings of betrayal, anymore than you would fight love, happiness and a feeling of belonging, do not deny their existence as part of who you are. The secret is to accept these painful emotions as part of who you are but not to dwell on them, accept the emotion and allow yourself to experience it and then move forward to improve your own situation. Do not allow anybody in the spiritual profession to tell you that “This is how it is, this way is the only way” as this is just not true. You cannot progress spiritually by following any individual on their path because it is their path and not your own. Your path is to be found in questioning everything that you are told or taught. Do not accept that something is truth because a very famous and well respected person has said that it is. Seek your own truth and build your own path to enlightenment and begin this by trusting yourself, your own intuition and accepting that you are a very powerful knowledgeable spiritual being. If your intuition tells you, or you have a ‘gut’ feeling about something, and then learn to trust that feeling, it will not lead you wrong. Now everything that I have said in this article is what sits well with me and feels right in my soul, you do not have to agree with any of it and I invite and encourage you to do your own research into what feels right in your soul so that you can find your way to enlightenment sooner and feel the joy of discovery yourself. © Stella Ware

I find myself right now under this powerful eclipse energy writing my first article for this awesome online magazine Cheeky Angels. I ponder what to share, what topic I should write about, how, when, and it occurs to me that all I have to do is share my heart, my truth and my whole vibrant being with you all. This leads me to the original idea and topic I had for this article which is “ ”. How to live your truth in a world where being the same is pushed and may even seem like the only way to fit in. I have always felt “unique” to say the very least, take one look at my astrology chart and even the world renowned astrologer Gary Goldschneider agreed. When I was growing up I always felt different and left out, little did I realise I was an Indigo child and a Lemurian, so I chose to experience some harshness from a young age for me to unfurrow out of it and be exactly where I am today. I feel like I have moved forward fearlessly and when I read my first self-help book, “ ” by Louise L Hay, well that was an “aha” moment and I KNEW with 100�accuracy why I was here and what my life’s purpose was. I now feel whole in my entire being… whole, blessed and deeply grateful. This is my deepest wish and desire for everyone. As we move into a brand new vibration we have to remember that labels, judgements, ideals, opinions, different perceptions and ideas are ALWAYS going to be a part of our journey and the way we deal with this is to respond and not react. Remember the Universe isn’t doing anything “to” us it’s just responding to what we are “BEing”. When we can honour what our heart feels, our soul longs for and our cells dance too I can promise you this, the Universe will shower you in abundance and many doors will open for you as a result of listening within then taking action. Live your truth courageously, openly and candidly; people will always pick up and feel a true and authentic person. When you begin to practice non-attachment, nonjudgement and BE more accepting, embracing, loving and kind life becomes effortless; a continuing flow off goodness, oneness and life becomes REAL. It’s time to give up the word “trying” from our vocabulary and start BEing, start taking responsibility for all we create, focusing on what matters most in our lives, BEing grateful every single day for the little things which are really the big things, share our heart and truth with all whom we encounter, BE vulnerable and as we drop the barriers, walls and defences all that is left is graceful, blissful and abundant love. LOVE is all we are and to share this is one of the greatest accomplishments we can achieve while we are here on Earth. My nickname is “ ” and this is so deeply humbling and very true.. I believe and feel it is so important to honour yourself, speak your truth kindly and assertively. To

listen with the intent to understand people and to truly honour others in their space, giving them the time and attention they deserve is a truly rewarding practice. However of course there is a place to set healthy boundaries, but in this space please let go of the aggression, the negativity, the anger and the story that continues to hold you in a space of victim mentality. It’s time to BE IMpowered; I’M powered, yes; always remembering we are attracting into our lives the exact energy we are vibrating to. Our thoughts, actions, speech and feelings all must be in alignment and when this happens just watch and be a part of all the incredible miracles and divine synchronicities that will unfold in your life each and every day. So how does all this lead to BEing you, BEing real and BEing authentic? Well simple, start practising living your truth, listen to the messages that are received through your body, your heart and your soul, tap into your own infinite power, if something doesn’t feel right it probably isn’t and that ok.. Know that it is ok to be you, you are worth loving, you are worthy being listened to and you are worthy of acceptance just because you are here. There is so much talk out there about Chakra’s as well as much misinformation around about them, so I have decided to provide you with a guide to Chakra’s and throughout the other Editions we will explore each one, learn how to balance them, meditate with them and have fun with them!! So sit back, relax and enjoy!!! Chakras, in Hindu and other belief systems, are centres of Pr a, life force, or vital energy. Chakra is a Sanskrit (historical Indo-Aryan language) word which means ‘wheel’. Our Human Energy Field (Aura) is an energetic, multi-dimensional field that surrounds our human body. This Human Energy Field has rivers of energy known as meridians (many religions know this latent subtle energy is called Kundalini in Shaktism, and Tumo in Tibetan Buddhist Tantra) which feed all organs within our bodies. These rivers are connected by seven Chakras. Chakra’s relate to not just to our emotional wellbeing but also our physical wellbeing, in particular, the endocrine system, spinal and central nervous system. In fact, there are actually hundreds of Chakra’s within our body but it is the main 7 that connect and are the most powerful:

Sahasrara means 1000 petalled lotus which is purple in colour and generally considered to be the Chakra of pure consciousness. It is the seventh Chakra, found at the top of the head and is used as a tool to communicate with our spiritual nature, alongside the Brow Chakra, most commonly known as the ‘Third Eye’. Ajna, the sixth Chakra, is symbolised by a lotus with two petals, and corr esponds to the colours violet, indigo or deep blue. It is found in the centre of the forehead and is more frequently referred to as the ‘third eye’ and most of us link the Third Eye to psychic perception.

Vishuddha is depicted as a silver crescent within a white circle, with 16 light or pale blue, or turquoise petals. It is the fifth Chakra and positioned at the neck/throat region. The colour blue and the position of this Chakra helps us easily identify it as the communication center.

The fourth Chakra, Anahata, is symbolised by a circular flower with twelve green petals. It is positioned in the central channel behind the spine at the heart region. As is the heart symbolism, this energy centre is about emotions, in particular love but it goes hand in hand with healing (the colour green denotes this too).

Manipura is symbolised by a downward pointing triangle with ten petals, along with the color yellow. Located in the area of the solar plexus, navel, and the digestive system it is the third Chakra. It is mainly responsible for the energies of power and will and it governs our self-esteem and personal power.

The second Chakra, Swadhisthana is symbolised by a white lotus within which is a crescent moon, with six vermillion, or orange petals. Located between the navel and the pubic bone, it is about feeling, sexuality and creativity.

The first Chakra, Muladhara, is symbolised by a lotus with four petals and the color red. It represents your foundation and is all about feeling grounded and secure. When these are out of alignment we can often tell as it is where we have issues with the part of the body that the Chakra is connected to. I will be going into more detail on each Chakra in the next 7 Editions but for example if you are having an emotional day then it is more than likely that the Root Chakra is out of alignment. I will reiterate here that this is not in substitution for medical advice.

I knew from an early age that I had an ability to talk to, hear and feel spirits but, like many, life took over! My mother has always believed in me and nudged me in the right direction and I do have to thank her otherwise I would not be doing what I love to do. We can balance the Chakra’s in a number of different ways, and it is up to the individual which is best for them but some will visualize each Chakra spinning clockwise, others will use guided meditations to help them and some will place the corresponding crystal on that Chakra. Life Coach I believe everything happens for a reason. I believe that we are creators of our own destiny. Is this a contradiction? Can things happen to us without us creating them on some level first? Can we be both passive subjects as our life takes course around us, and also active participants in the life we are creating? I believe we can....and we are. We think, we feel and we attract experiences to ourselves based on our vibrations, our thoughts, beliefs, fears and intentions. We create our futures based on our present thoughts. We attract experiences to us, that we need to grow, develop and expand in consciousness. we do not always consciously create our experiences, but sometimes we are forced into unforseen futures, because it is the experience that is necessary for our souls growth. Our soul is aware of what it needs, and need not consult the ego self for permission...so it may sometimes appear as though we are powerless in creating and manifesting our ideal lives.....but in reality, our soul self is creating (your soul is you) and our ego self (the other half of you) is not always a welcome member on the 'Life Path Committee' We can undoubtedly influence our future by holding different thoughts about it. We can create. but we cannot control everything (life events, loved ones passing etc), and sometimes our attempts at manifesting, affirming and creating our way into a new future, onto a new path is premature.....we may need to stay in the uncomfortable space, travel further along the bumpy road, until we have integrated the lesson firmly into our consciousness. But importantly, recognise that while we are travelling that road, we always have choices....such as how we react, respond, think and feel. While we may not always have control over what events unfold in our life.....we can always control our reaction to it. To empower ourselves spiritually and personally, and to allow our powers of creation to strengthen, we need to accept responsibility for our life. We need to own our choices, our actions, our thoughts, our reactions and our feelings. If you are waiting for someone to change, or say sorry, or are blaming your childhood or something else out of your control, you are giving what you are focused on energy, and therefore you don't have your power, someone else or the past does!! Take back your power by taking responsibility for your life! Everything is a choice, the relationships you are in, the friends you have, the energy you take on, the way you respond to negative events, trauma, loss etc...you chose your actions, words and feelings and how you deal with things is completely in your power. Live in

your power and give love to all that hurt you. That's a choice you can control. The fact that someone has hurt you is probably something that you couldn't control. Practice forgiveness, its empowering and I know its hard, I have done it, and it gets easier when you see how powerful you become from living this way! Choose love. Choose happiness! Choose positive thoughts. Your thoughts are more powerful than anything else you have. They are your greatest asset and biggest setback. You own them. They attract things into your life continuously......if you believe yourself unworthy of true love....it will elude you. If you believe you live a life of lack.....it will be true for you. If you believe you deserve abundance, are worthy of it, ready it and have garnered the lessons you need to prepare you for it.....it will appear to you. When it does and how it does may be beyond your creation.....and exceed your expectations. You need to trust. Trust, have patience, flow along your path and keep your faith in you, the universe and your future. I am a very positive, optimistic and happy person.. I stop myself immediately in the path of negative thoughts...and if I didnt catch myself in time...I try and erase any negative effects that I attracted from my negative thoughts with an outburst of positive thoughts..... Then i worry that by only thinking positively, I am not being realistic. LOL. So, life is really one big challenge on our brains. But I think, balance is always key....and by acknowledging negative thoughts, detaching from them and releasing them....that's a healthy way to manage them.... Ask the angels, AA Michael and your guides to remove any negative energy that is attached to you from thinking negative and fearful thoughts. Keep cleansing the energy, keep visualising success in all areas. think about the future you want....and create it....just be prepared to face some unforseen events along the way.....life wasn't meant to be easy....life is meant to make us grow. Honor your journey, heed the lessons, open your eyes to the possibilities and have FAITH! Have faith in your path, faith in your ability to handle what comes your way with dignity, integrity, honor and strength. Forgiveness is not about forgetting what was done, it's not about getting to a place where you can walk into a room with the person and act like nothing ever happened. It is not even about letting the person know you have forgiven them, true forgiveness does not require that to happen. Forgiveness is about letting go emotiona lly and energeti cally. Letting go of the guilt, anger, and sadness involved, the regain ing your own personal power back. When someth ing happens between you and another person usually two things happen. They have so much power over you because you are angry, sad and hurt by their actions, but you also may hold a lot of guilt because you may feel you could have done something different. Each of these emotions are a link back to them, giving them power and holding you in the past. It is important to keep in mind that everything happens for a reason and although we may not know why, somewhere in this there is an important lesson to be learned. Ever wonder how a mother could forgive the person that killed their child? They have accepted that it happened, accepted that they couldn't do anything to change the outcome and accepted that dwelling on it wonâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t bring their child back, but only hinder them from moving forward. They have let go of the power the person had over them, and given themselves permission to take back their own power, be in control of their own lives and not live in the unchangeable past. They are not forgiving them in the sense that they will start visiting and chatting, nor to a point that they will love that person. (Although, some do manage to take it to that point) They are

simply breaking the negative cord that is attached and choosing to move forward in their life. Life isn't perfect, nor will it ever be. Perfection is something that we cannot have here on earth. The only perfection we have is to know we are a perfect piece in the grand scheme of the universal picture. We make mistakes, others make mistakes. We have made bad choices and so have others, but each and every piece is a lesson for us that we can either learn from or let hold us back. Forgiven ess is a powerful thing, it is a freedom that only you can give yourself. Forgiveness doesnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t happen overnight and it may take a few times. You may have to remind yourself several times, donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t be too hard on yourself, it happens. It is okay to have a bad day, or even a bad week, just keep working on it. This is where you can ask your guides and angels to help you in the process. Ask them to help bring you peace and to help you get your power back. They are there for you, all you have to do is ask. Keep your head up, remember to smile. You are uniquely you and as long as you are being active in the forgiveness process you are showing the universe you are trying, the only true way to fail is if you never try. Make the choice to release the pain, and choose to do it today.

A healthy, well-tuned brain generally equals a healthy, well-tuned individual. What we focus on expands and thoughts are things. Everyone has a different belief when it comes to their Spiritual Journey and it should be like that as everyone’s journey is different. What you believe in (just like in any other religion), is not necessarily what others believe. Some only believe in Angels and not Spirit Guides, or believe that an Angel is a Spirit Guide. Who are we to say that it is wrong? We can’t… but I believe in Angels, Spirit Guides, Animal Spirit Guides and yes… the Elementals (fairies at the bottom of my garden!). Totem Animals (Power Animals) are part of many beliefs most notably Native American & Shaman’s. life and spiritual beliefs but more and more people are discovering their totem animals as part of their individual journeys away from Native American beliefs. These totem animals work in different ways, in my opinion, which is that they can describe your personality in a reading as well as calling upon them when you need help. They also appear when we need guidance. Just the same as our Angels and Spirit Guides, Animal Guides are there to guide, protect, heal and educate you along your spiritual journey.

You are an intelligent person if you have a Gorilla as a totem animal!! Gorilla’s are highly intelligent and very quick learners. It also means that an important teacher has just come into your life, or just about to. They will helping you with communication, spiritual development especially clairaudience and you will be learning more about yourself. Well, I am able to see people’s animals around them and provide information to that person about why they are there etc but you are able to do it exactly as you would do in calling your angels, or talking to your Spirit Guides. Some do this through meditation, others call upon them to help. Gorillas have acute hearing and therefore indicates clairaudient abilities (the ability to hear Spirits) and you are a great listener and really hear what others are saying and respond accordingly. Gorillas also indicate that you do have to fight for what you believe in as well as your status amongst family and friends. SILE WALSH Oracle Card Reader, Energy Healer & Tutor Leaving my house is always an ordeal as my dog suffers with anxiety and refuses to go into the back yard pulling away when he see’s you ushering that way and when you leave him inside he comes to the window and gives you his OH really your leaving me alone look. Pulling on every heart string I have as if like a violin. As I left today and put him out the back I was thinking how each time we leave he doesn’t stay in the moment enjoying the sun, the birds and the adventure of our backyard. Hi Debbie, Thank you for your submission. Looking at Harmonie and linking in with her she automatically backs away as she does not know me but she has allowed me in and now knows i am not a threat to her and only have her best interests at heart. This lovely young lady has such a wonderful nature but has the equivalent of anxiety and panic attacks in humans but without the actual attack itself. More the feeling before the attack actually happens. Now i am being shown back to when she was much younger and can see her being badly beaten and made a mockery of. I can see 3 adults and a child around her. 2 of these adults were young males and the other a young female in her early twenties. The 2 males found it highly amusing to beat her and am being shown a specific image of her being hit on her behind when she least expected it which hurt her and would sting for quite a while afterwards and i am seeing this as a whip type stick. If you have had her since a puppy then this would be a past life of hers but this is still prominent in her mind. I am also seeing her being attacked by 2 dogs in the past also. one is a much larger dog than herself and looks to be a Doberman and the other one was much smaller than herself and both were separate incidents by 2 dogs unrelated or unconnected to each other. I don't feel Harmonie is a nasty dog at all and feel she would much rather back away from confrontation as she really does not like it whatsoever. Every noise, every sudden movement makes her much worse because of the past and cannot trust anyone or anything. This trust has to be earnt as she panics within. My advice would be to be mindful of your mindset and what you are thinking about when you approach a situation whether it be a drive or a walk for you worrying about how she will be you are instilling that fear in her before she even goes anyway as she picks it up from you telepathically and on an empathic level. For starters i would keep the car parked and leave 2 doors open down one side making sure you are not on a busy road when she could be injured if she decides to run and participate in play in the parked car for 5 minutes to start with. Then leave the car and lock it up until the next day and gradually increase the time spent playing in the car and this will ensure she sees the car as a fun time and not connected to a fear. Then when this has been built up, leave the engine running, then gradually closes the doors, but don't go anywhere and still keep up the playtime in the car. Once you have done this for a few times then travel short journeys and gradually building it up to longer distances and this will help to eradicate the fear she has and replacing it with the association of fun instead. With all other areas she is nervous of do the same thing, introduce it as a fun time but keep it minimal and slowly building it up and try not to worry about how she will be for she will then pick that up from you and it will undo the job you are about to do. Hi Fran, Thank you for your submission. I have linked in to both your cats, Tomcat and Simba to find out whether they have passed over to the spirit world or not. I am sorry to say this but i am seeing Tomcat in Spirit after suffering a tumour in his kidney area and being put to sleep to end his suffering by the people he was residing with at the time who took him in and looked after him after he was found looking a bit worse for wear and they nurtured him only to become ill and eventually pass. He still comes to visit you and often lays at what looks to be the top of some stairs and also at the bottom of a bed which looks to be a double bed and on the right hand side as you lay in it. However, Simba i am seeing as still being on the earth plane but the surroundings have changed due to things being moved around at home at the time Simba decided to move out and i am seeing that he didn't like the moving of things around your home and took it upon himself to up and move out. I am seeing him with an elderly couple who look to be in their mid 70's and they idolise him and he decided to reside with them full time. He is appearing as being a bit fatter than the picture you supplied and appears to be happy, content and obviously well fed. He is struggling with his joints in his back legs but i feel this is due to age and it comes and goes but is being treated with a supplement to help with joints. Unfortunately cats do this and depending on their characters some will just up and move out and will not tolerate any changes and others will put up with it and tolerate much more. Hi Michele, Thank you for your submission, I have taken a look at Goldee and Indee and i had to giggle as Indee just has "trouble" written all over her and "butter wouldn't melt" they are both adorable! But Indee i feel is the cheekier one of the 2 and will push her luck far more than Goldee would although on saying that Goldee is also i feel the instigator when she thinks no one is looking and will encourage Indee to do things she shouldn't. Indee is also the more defiant one of the 2 i feel whereas Goldee will come across more as the goody two shoes as they say but she is the secret leader. these 2 are like a comedy duo and i could spend all day reading them. Never a quiet moment where these two are concerned. Their minds are so active its making me feel dizzy. Constantly on the go whether mentally or physically. I am also being drawn to one being a "dancer" A long term solution for Indee with regards to the poo eating is to not make a fuss when she does it as she will see this as competition and the fact you are trying to get to it before she does so therefore she will just eat it quicker next time to make sure you don't get it first. The eating of poo then becomes a significant event and escalates into a habit. Distraction and reward is therefore the better option and teaching the "leave" command will also help. Teach the "leave" command with something of low value before you graduate to using the leave command with poo eating. The eating of poo is very rewarding to a dog, therefore any action or exercises you undertake must be much more rewarding and enticing. Provide something your dog loves but is not readily available to them and keep it to training rewards only like chicken or slices of hotdog sausage. I have 5 rats, they are known for liking company but Ivy does not get on with the others, if I put her with them she upsets them and they fight yet she is so sweet to people. Hi Kez, Thank you for your submission. I have had a look at your picture and linked into Ivy. Rats are extremely intelligent pets and I have come across a few recently with regards to readings and this issue you currently have seems to be commonplace at the moment and the problem is they do not see themselves as rats but humans so to put a human thinking rat in with typically minded rats is like putting a cat amongst the pigeons so to speak hence the fighting with others and getting on better with people. She has much more intelligence than the others. When a pet does not get on with other pets of the same breed it is human intuition to pick them up and protect them and keep them separated but what this in fact does is make the problem worse as you are rewarding bad behaviour. In the wild these rats would sort it out amongst themselves and stay away from those they don't get on with and be civil with others and get on really well with the remaining ones. The problem you have here is that Ivy sees herself as human and not as a rat. In her eyes the others are well beneath her and she rises way above them in ranking and the others do not like this and resent her for it. To solve this would take some patience as it would mean not keeping her separate and keeping her with the others and letting them sort it out amongst themselves without any intervention but this would be very hard on you to watch and most likely to cause severe distress to her as they do no handle stress too well not to mention injuries from fighting. My advice would be to get a younger rat who is not part of the other group (an excuse for a new one too!) and keep them together so she is not alone and has another one for company that doesn't put her under stress but I am getting it very strongly that it has to be a young one that she can nurture and not older who will more than likely domineer her which will not go down too well. I first picked up a pack of Tarot cards about 22 years ago, when I had just turned 18. For many years I did readings for myself, family and friends, but didn't ever think about doing it for a living until many years later. I bounced from casual job to casual job with little focus, as had failed to find anything I truly enjoyed doing. I was interested in Tarot, Runes and Astrology but it never occured to me to do these things for a living. It wasn't until after the sudden death of my Father in 2004 that I considered trying my hand at the Tarot on a professional level . The drastic change in my life after his loss had prompted a lot of soul-searching and I decided it was high time I tried to make a career for myself doing something I knew I liked and was pretty good at. And so I put a website together- www.theenchantedland.com , then not long after this, I noticed Ebay had quite a few people selling readings on there. I decided to give it a go, and began getting orders instantly. It was basically "pocket money" for the first year or so, but then things really began to take off ! Within the space of a few years, I was the top-selling Tarot reader on there, earning a full time living and really enjoying my "time in the sun". All this was to change, however, in the most unexpected way.... In August 2012, Ebay announced shocking plans to prohibit sales of various esoteric services as of September that same year. In the space of a few short weeks, dozens of spiritual businesses around the world offering psychic readings, spell castings, distant healings and spelled objects were destroyed with little warning, while thousands of regular customers were left wondering where to go to find such services in a similar online venue. This completely unexpected turn of events was a complete disaster for me , effectively ruining my main business overnight . At the time the news was released, I had gained over 4, 000 positive feedback ratings for my services as a Tarot reader there. I had a thriving business, earned a steady income. What was I going to do ? What were all my fellow metaphysical sellers going to do ? Sure, many of us had our own websites but for a lot of us, myself included, Ebay was the main portal for sales. After the shock and anger I was feeling began to abate , I started brainstorming ideas for new ways to get myself "out there" as a reader. One night, something significant occured to me : there was not yet one single site like Ebay that was dedicated to sales of metaphysical products and services. All the other auction sites had categories for these types of things, but dozens of other categories for nonrelated things. I thought it would be a fantastic idea to create a venue that operated just like Ebay, but where the things for sale there were ONLY related to the metaphysical niche. And so the idea for "Mystic Emporia" was borne. I put aside all funds earned from my last few weeks on ebay, hired a web designer and got to work at creating www.mysticemporia.com . After a lot of hard work, the site launched mid November. I manage the site

myself and at present there are no sponsors or large advertising campaigns as the project is being funded entirely out of my own pocket, so the site relies heavily on word of mouth at the moment to gain interest. As the site is still very new, it is going to take time to gain attention. So far though, there have been around 900 people signing up to become members and quite a lot of people who used to sell on Ebay can now be found there. In addition, the Facebook page has attracted over 7,000 likes, so clearly there is a lot of interest in a venue like this. Visitors to the site can browse listings in categories which include Astrology reports, clairvoyant readings, distant healing, dream analysis, magick and spells, pagan and wiccan products, occult collectables, life coaching, Numerology, divination decks and tools , spiritual jewellry, arts and crafts and more. Joining the site as a buyer or seller is free, and as a thank you to all new sign-ups, members can claim 3 emailed Astrology reports free of charge. Sellers can place listings on the site for free , with the option to enhance their listings with upgrades for tiny amounts. As the site is international, it welcomes buyers and sellers from all around the world. Looking back at what happened with Ebay, it now feels like it was the exact change that was needed in my life. For many years I had been complacent, relying mostly on traffic there to find work, and not really pushing myself to try my hand at new projects or kick start various other ideas I had been mulling over for quite a long time.The journey since "losing my job" on Ebay has been a challenging one, but such a rewarding one at the same time.
