WERE YOU HAPPY OR SAD ON YOUR FIRST DAY? Connie Bradley:
Here at Cheadle Hulme School everybody is really friendly and nobody gets left out. When you’re new we have even more respect for you. We talk to you if you’re lonely, we show you around the school and most of all we make you feel welcome. When I look back on my memories of CHS the best times were when I was new! I spoke to some CHS pupils who had recently joined the School. Here’s what they said.
“ I was both happy and sad on my first day. Sad becaus e I missed my old friends but happy becaus e straigh t away I made new ones. Suddenly I started makin g lots of friends and because of that I am much happier now.”

I felt shy because I was scared. ARE YOU SCARED NOW? Connor: No, because I’m a big boy now. I have made friends at school. Gen Flanagan: Happy because I thought it would be really good fun. I was happy on my first day because it was fun in class. I drew some pictures. DID YOU MAKE FRIENDS ON YOUR FIRST DAY OR DID IT TAKE QUITE A WHILE? Connie: I made one hundred!
