Solar powered fresh air skylights open so both air and light are brought into the space. These skylights have a rain sensor on the solar and electric

models so they automatically close at the sign of inclement weather. Electric fresh air skylights block heat while still allowing the natural light to pour through. The venting in these skylights reduces the need for air conditioning, and helps to improve indoor air quality. As with the solar powered skylights, electric skylights also have the rain sensor. SunTunnel skylights are another option. These are modern skylights that integrate with your roof line.
