For us as the lighting provider, we try to duplicate that with the lighting.” Allen introduced Acacia to Jen. Jen came into the store with her plans and went through the home room by room. Aesthetic preferences and various finishes were discussed. Since Jen was already very familiar with Circa, they placed fixtures she had chosen and made suggestions for areas she hadn’t. During the selection process, Acacia asked Jen about finishes being used in the house such as plumbing fixtures, hardware, color palette, and style. It’s important that fixtures complement each other when they are in close proximity.

Acacia also walked through the house when it was under construction to ensure overall heights were correct and fixtures were to scale for the space. This Mt. Pleasant home features a variety of unique elements that make it stand out—a floating staircase, a EuroWall in the living room, a custom bar with retractable steel doors, custom cubbies in the mudroom, and much more.
