They post featured items from the upcoming auctions on their website, a-a.com, and if you can't attend the Saturday auctions in person, they'll even let you leave a silent bid! We have acquired some of our most gorgeous pieces in this way, including all of the Oriental palace rugs that are dressed into our headquarters sets. We also recently rented some pieces from an upcoming auction for a fancy military ball. The most prized of these items were two brass torchieres; we had looked high and low for these elusive items, and Roumillat's had the perfect pieces to frame the doorway of the entrance to our ball!” - Missy “I have had a relationship with Ed, Kevin, and Suzanne for several seasons, and I have kind of a unique relationship with Roumillat’s because not only do they have a fantastic selection of antiques, they also have estate auctions every couple weeks; you never know what treasures you may stumble upon! A perfect example of this happened a couple weeks ago when I was in search of torchieres for a scene at the Hibernian Society. I had checked the prop houses in LA and called just about everyone I knew in Charleston and had spent an entire day going in and out of antique stores. I popped into Roumillat’s and walked over to see Kevin and Suzanne and check out the latest estate auction; I walked in and right in front of me was a grand six-foot bronze torchiere! I so appreciate the level of personal service that in larger cities and with larger business just doesn't happen. I always say I am going to be in big trouble when I leave Charleston because we've gotten so spoiled with the level of customer service and the generosity of spirit...I can't tell you how many vendors have given me their personal cell phone numbers and offer up furniture from their houses.” - Brooke
