Turning a House into a Home With the help of talented interior designers at Aiden Fabrics, these homeowners were able to make their dream home a reality.

A

fter moving into their new home, Lynn and Winton Jennette were searching for designers to help with an overall design concept while also making their existing furniture and art pieces work in this new space. They eventually found their way to Aiden Fabrics and after their first consultation with the designers, they knew this was the perfect fit. The Jennettes already had a vision for their home and a clear style they wanted to achieve, making this a fun and interesting project for everyone involved. They wanted to renovate many rooms in the house, including 130 • CH+D • Fall 2021

the kitchen, bar, and butler’s pantry. “The overall look was to be a balance of contemporary looks and antiques,” says Heather Picinich of Aiden Fabrics. “We also wanted to incorporate a lot of color while still keeping the space light and airy.” The plan included high-end details and finishes for each space that created a flow of color from one area to the next, while still ensuring that each space was unique. In the dining room seen above, the Jennettes loved the idea of a mural, so the designers started there. They brought in the Serenity Green grasscloth mural wallpaper from Phillip Jefferies and
