are complemented by the décor, which can be described as French Regal with quite a bit of Laura’s modern bling. To pull this entire look together, the Walkers relied on the meticulous attention to detail provided by construction manager Ramin Farahvashi, who has been working on custom homes with the Nesters since 1998.

The kitchen’s glamorous style is subtle and found in facets such as oversized cabinet hardware. However, Sherri designed the kitchen—first and foremost—for functionality. Tucked behind the kitchen lies an extensive pantry, which is the signature feature found in many of the homes that Sherri creates. “When I have the opportunity, I design a back kitchen adjacent to the main kitchen,” says Sherri, “so that we can keep the clutter out of the entertaining space.” Russ adds, “The Walkers may throw a pool CH+D • Spring 2014
