Busch Last issue, Charleston Home + Design gave you an in-depth look into the life of Charleston’s own biscuiteer, Carrie Morey. Since then, the inspiring entrepreneur has opened the eagerly anticipated Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit on King Street. Of course, she invited editor Christy Conway and me to the bakery, and we found ourselves in a flaky, doughy heaven. Coast. Rivaling the uniqueness of the bakery and retro-inspired décor was the unmistakable, savory smell of baking biscuits. Christy and I were treated to a cinnamon biscuit, a BLT served on a cracked-pepper biscuit, and a slice of delectable tomato pie.
