The same engineers who helped develop the FR500C were assigned to producing Ford Racing Performance packs for today’s Mustang. Our team spent hundreds of hours on the track and street testing gears, springs, shocks and sway bar combinations. The yellow FR500 development car has made hundreds of laps and cruised thousands of miles testing the durability of the parts. That car, as well as the other cars in our development fleet, has performed flawlessly. Through those efforts, factory-engineered performance and handling packages are now available for Mustang V-6, GT and Shelby GT500. From the moment it stole America’s heart in 1964, the Ford Mustang has been racing and winning. And just like those road-racing warriors of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, today’s Grand-Am winning racers use the same performance parts that are available for your pony car, designed and developed by the same team of dedicated engineers who gave birth to your Mustang. Every race-proven part is packed with potential, many come with a limited Ford Racing warranty, and all are waiting to be installed by your local Ford dealer. Today, our Ford Racing engineers still develop and build race-winning cars, just like Henry Ford did more than 100 years ago. The Mustang FR500C and FR500GT are tearing up racetracks worldwide and influencing the development of a whole new generation of high-performance Mustangs. As 100 years of great products can attest, when you have a passion for performance Fords, real value isn’t measured in dollars, but rather in how much fun these vehicles are to drive and own.

On behalf of our entire team at Ford Racing and all personnel at Ford who touch Mustang and Performance, we want to thank you for your continued support of Ford Performance. Jamie Allison Ford Racing Performance Group
