About Charleston Forge Charleston Forge has been known for its impeccable quality and award-winning designs since its inception in 1984. Sturdy, hand-built steel frames, solid wood tops and shelves, a wide range of exquisite glass options, and high-quality upholstery, all come together to create beautiful furniture that literally lasts for generations. Drawing on age-old blacksmithing and metalworking techniques, each piece of furniture is built to order, by hand, in our Boone, North Carolina factory. There is no automation, no assembly line, just individual, painstaking attention to detail, from start to finish, by talented craftsman.

Our American Made ethos doesn’t end at the factory door. Almost all of the company’s vendors are located within 100 miles of our factory. Additionally the state’s proud history of furniture making means that we can take advantage of a tremendous depth of experience and skill right from our back door. The fact that all our furniture is hand made also gives us the capability to easily customize products as well as work with designers on completely original designs.
These skills also give the company the means to work closely with many clients in the hospitality industry. This includes major hotel and restaurant chains, including Starbucks, for whom we have been building community tables since 2014.
