Charles Shears

Charles Shears is a real estate professional with more than 30 years of experience, and the owner and co-founder of two companies: SDI Realty Advisors (1997) and SDI Petroleum (2012). A 1983 graduate of the University of Texas, Charles Shears has been active in the field of commercial real estate since before his convocation. Upon graduation, Mr. Shears served as a real estate broker in Dallas, and went on to work alongside his family’s business. During this time, he acquired commercial properties and oversaw management and financing. In 1997, SDI Realty Advisors was formed. Mr. Shears and his partner turned their years of experience to the development of smaller retail sites constructed nearby large chain stores such as Walmart and JC Penney; such constructs are known as shadow retail centers. The company began with a focus on the Houston metro area, but soon moved further afield, developing business properties across Texas and in neighboring states.
