The Buddy Swanson volunteer award recognizesthosewhohavevolunteeredin numerous ways to the community over manyyears.TheawardsaresponsoredbyBuddy Swanson's children, Jennifer and Sheldon, to honor their father's many years working for the community, from hockey coaching to deputy mayorandnumerousthingsinbetween. ThisyeartheawardwaspresentedtoMrs. Natalie Tessier for her years volunteering on local boards and committees. As a Rotarian, countless hours devoted to events hosted by the club, her assistance with the beautification and upkeep of peace park, her voice and presence with respect to health care ensuring Chapleau is represented, and lastly, her involvement with various sports clubs over the years to ensure the continuancetothecommunityforthechildren.
