It's with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Yvonne Doyle nee Paquette onAugust 11, 2023, at the ageof92yearsattheChapleauGeneral Hospital. YvonnewasbornJune5,1931, in Chapleau to her parents Corrine and DelmaPaquette.
BelovedwifeofFrankDoyle(deceased) andpartnerJackStevens(deceased).
Predeceased by sisters, Leona, Blanche, Anita, Irene, Marie Rose, and her brother Jerry. Sadly, missed by brother Joey and her lovingsonJohn.
Yvonne will be greatly missed by her children Jamie (Joanne), Robert (Judy), David (Gayle) Louanne (Gary), Jean (Neil, Shane (Natalie) Tishy (Dan), Rita (Larry), Donald(Aaron),Teresa(Glen)Micheal(Shelley).
Yvonnewillberememberedbyher24grandchildrenand her15great-grandchildren. Yvonnewillalsobemissedby severalniecesandnephewsandmanycousins.
WewouldliketoextendaspecialTHANKYOUtoallthe activation girls who kept Mom moving, dancing, bingo playing and the caring for Mom. Also, to the nurses and hospital staff for the care and compassion. Dianna, Chelsey,Sara,yourwonderfulheartswerefeltinourtime ofsadness.
TherewillbeafuneralserviceattheSacredHeartChurch, 21 Lansdowne, Chapleau, Thursday August 24, 2023, at 11a.m.
Inlieuofflowers,donationscanbemadetotheChapleau Health Services Recreation Department Alzheimer's DementiaFoundation.
The Caucus has been informed that the investigator foundthatseveralofthespecific allegationsofworkplacemisconductweresubstantiated. The investigator based these findings on interviews with multiple witnesses, including thoseidentifiedbyMPPMantha, as well as other documentary evidence, including video recordings.
The Caucus also understands that although MPP Mantha initially participated in the investigation, he refused to personally attend an interview and did not provide documents promisedtoandrequestedbythe investigator.
In light of these findings, MPP Mantha will not be returning to the Ontario NDP Caucus. In order to continue maintaining the privacy and safety of the Complainant,theCaucuswillnot be disclosing further details of thereport.
“As Leader, I take my responsibility for safe and respectful workplaces very seriously. Members of our caucus, and all elected officials, must be held to the higher standardfortheirbehaviourandhowtheyusethe powertheyhave.
The independent, third-party investigation is now complete, and based on its findings, the Member will not be returning to the NDP Caucus.”
