Sr. / LB / 5-11 / 235 Tabor City, N.C. / South Columbus HS Preseason All-Big South and listed on the CollegeFootballPerformanceAwards.com as one of the top returning linebackers in the nation … Ranks fourth on the CCU all-time list for tackles for loss with 24.5 (the record is 34) … Ranks 10th on the CCU career list for unassisted tackles with 95. 2011 (Jr.): Named first team All-Big South … Battled a hamstring injury throughout the year, but still played in all 11 games, starting nine … Ranked fourth on the team with 46 tackles, while tallying a team-high 10 tackles for loss …. After getting 12 tackles in the first two games, including 3.0 TFL and leading the team with nine stops versus Catawba, he would only get 12 tackles over his next five games combined being slowed by the injury ... However, over his last four games, had 21 stops, including a team-best seven tackles in the Presbyterian win ... Added six stops with 2.0 TFL at Stony Brook and registered four tackles, including a sack, in the win at Charleston Southern … Ended the season with two TFL, including a sack, at Western Carolina. 2010 (So.): Named the 2010 Big South Defensive Player of the Year ... Selected to play in the North Carolina East-West All-Star Game ... Led the Stallions’ defense to eight shutouts and four other games of a touchdown or less and averaged giving up just 5.9 points per game ... Three-time All-County, All-City and All-Conference selection, as well as two-time Loris Tribune Player of the Year, posting 160.5 tackles and 10 tackles for loss his junior season and 165 tackles and 12 tackles for loss as a sophomore ...
