FUTURISTIC The future combines the elements of the past and present. Technology is rapidly changing, and the themes of Sci-Fi are becoming more visible. Fashion, architecture, and design is being transformed into a world of modernity, simplicity, and raw edge. Different trims and decorate finishings transform the old into the refreshed, and new. The futuristic trend for A/W 2015-16 displays a new vision that embraces the modern edge of the future. Starting with the Sahara Desert, the desert is taken in as something earthy and natural, with elements of rawness and application of hardware. Galactic Galaxy is about the bright and the bold, displaying outer space in an appealing manner with crazy prints and colors. Metal Meteor uses inspirations of Minerals and ores to connect the dark and mysterious of modern buildings and cities in a futuristic aesthetic. It also uses elements of contrasting metals to create a tough, rough edge. Holographic Sky is relient on the illumination of sunlight on reflective fabrics. It uses the component of transparency to create an array of different colors. Last but not least, Pixalated Pixels displays the pixel and its relation to technology, and it’s unique aesthetic in fashion and architecture.

Sahara Desert
Deeply inspired by the deserts of the future, Sahara Desert incorporates elements of nature, along with the new and old. Earth tones are mixed with the cold, rough tones of metal and other hardware. One is bought to the world of Star Wars, Halo, and the ancient ruins in the most major of deserts. The color story consists of robust and natural colors.
Inspiration Inspired by landscapes of various desert structures, and desert scenes from sci-fi movies. Inspirations include those of an “earthy� aesthetic, mixed with a modern edge.

Fabric & Fibers
Fabrics are light and eco friendly. Consisting of cotton’s, linens, and faux suedes, along with pops of metal and shiny trims to add raw edge and a sense of roughness.
Trims & Accessories
It’s all about the earthy drama. Materials used for trims and accessories are constructed of things found on earth. Emphasis is mainly on gold metal, which illustrate a sutle, natural feeling of hardware.
Galactic Galaxy
“ In a galaxy far, far away....� Centered around
bright lights, neon colors, and the theme of outer space , Galactic Galaxy is all about boldness, mixed with a sense of modernism. Silhouettes are dramatic, and the future is bright and starry eyed. The color story is bright and bold, consisting of different purple shades and pops of other colors.
Inspiration Inspired by planets and the solar system, elements of light and bright colors, along with interesting prints, textures and shapes.

Fabrics & Fibers Fabrics and Fibers are full of shine and texture. Sequin and other forms of “sparkle� are nessasary. Neoprane and coated fabrics are great statement matierals that add structure, and represent a new and upcoming aesthetic.
Trims & Accessories
Trims and Accessories are full of color and dramatic edge. From semi precious stones on accessories, to galactic nail art. EVERYTHING has a shine, or element of color.
Metal Meteor Metal Meteor is deeply inspired by the dark metals and ores of the future. Shades of Gray, Black and White are prominent in the color story. Silhouettes are modern, hard and simple. Rough texture and hardware evoke a rigid and dense mood.
Inspiration Inspired by the simplicity, and raw-edge of buildings and modern cities. It could be referred to as dark and bizarre, but also beautiful and mysterious. The use of metal give a compresssed and unyielding trimming.
Prints & Patterns
Fabrics & Fibers Fabrics and Fibers are hard and durable. They can be layered to create fullness and drama. Leathers, and coated fabrics provide a stiff structure, but also add texture and contrast. Chain mail is used to add a roughness, and consistency.
Trims & Accessories
Trims and ccessories are full of edge and rawness. Garments and ccessories are laced with studs, and any other metal hardware that can be added on. The use of texture created with metal and fabric provides a clean contrast.
Holographic Sky Holographic Sky focuses on 3D Dimension. It uses the illuminaton of light to create an image. Holography is a process that is coming of age, and is set on high standards for the future. Bouncing light of different materials and fabrics makes colors seem digitalized and surreal. The color story reflects different colors that are produced when light is illuminated.
Inspiration Inspired by beautifully colored rocks and minerals. The Illumination of light on different kinds of fabrics and materials make holography a thing of the future and something that can be appreciated for it’s beautiful array of colors.

Fabrics have a glossy face that bounces of light in different ways. Many are coated in a shiny wax or resin, which embrace a sense of modernity. Some fabrics even change color when it is wet or exposed to the sun.
Trims & Accessories
Trims and Accessories rely on light exposure. Trims include sequin that turn different colors in the sunlight, or interesting buttons that pop in light. Accessories include holographic nail colors, transparent shoes that change colors in the light, and other accessories that absorb the light, thus displaying a variety of colors.
Pixelated Pixels Pixels are directly related to the world of technology. The future promises the most advanced technology, and everything is slowly being produced in digital. The world embraces the Pixel and translates it in different ways, thus creating a lifestyle of simplicity and eccentrics. The color story includes a different array of colors that are bright and full of contrast.
Inspiration Deeply inspired by the world of pixalation, the world is transformed into cubic squares of different colors. It has an appealing sense of color, vibrance, and technology. The idea that many small squares of color work together to create something more than itself, makes Pixelation new and
