CUSD Graduates Win Seed Money for their Startup Company

5 entrepreneurs pitched their business idea at the Chandler Endeavor: Entrepreneurial Series for the chance to win seed money donated by the Chandler Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation. Congratulations BorroUp – the recipient of this funding! BorroUp is a peer-to-peer mobile adventure gear rental platform that is designed to take adventure gear people are not utilizing or don’t want to sell and creates a sustainable income opportunity. At the same time, they provide a way for people to save money by renting instead of buying items that are needed temporarily. With the funding from the Chandler Chamber Community Foundation, BorroUp will further develop and improve their mobile app. This will enable their clients to offer an even more affordable and accessible way for outdoor enthusiasts to rent adventure gear.

Fun fact, the founders of this startup are Chandler Unified School District graduates. The Chamber Foundation and Arizona State University are excited to support BorroUp through their entrepreneurial journey!
