Wow, the excitement is starting tobuild toward the annual Chandler Ostrich Festival at Tumbleweed Park. This year will be bigger than ever because we are not doing just one week, but we are adding a second exciting weekend. Seven days to entertain and to eat your way to happiness, March 11-13 and March 17-20.

For our Chamber members, you know this is our largest fundraiser of the year, and it helps fund so many great programs that we offer here at the Chamber.

To make this a success we need everyone’s help as a volunteer. We have seven days, so you have plenty of choices and times where you can give us your great support. At the same time, when your shift is over or before, you can enjoy all the fun family friendly activities.

The bands for the two weekends are: Walker Hayes, Nelly, The Band Perry, Uncle Kracker, The Four Tops & The Temptations, Flo Rider, and The Spazmatics. They are a very diverse group of acts to cater to all the different residents of the valley. I am super excited to rock out on several of these nights!

Our Ostrich Festival committee led by Ralph Guariglio and Michael Garza have done an amazing job as usual in putting this together.

We are still also looking for sponsors so if you or your company or someone you know would like to be a sponsor, it isn’t too late to get in on it. Thousands and thousands of people will be attending these two weekends, so what a great way to have your business showcased. Just contact the office for more information.

I look forward to seeing everyone out at the festival.

Thanks for your support in advance!
