The Hope of THE WORLD

We believe the local church is the hope of the world. Here at home, around Houston, and across the globe, our church is working to bring the light and love of Jesus to people everywhere.

The Bible encourages those who are blessed to bless others. Through Champions Give, we can feed the hungry, serve the hurting, and build the church.

In the next year, our efforts will reach thousands of people. We are pushing forward to serve and invest more than ever to bring help that transforms lives, changes families, and shapes eternity. Our vision is great because the need is great.

In the following pages, you will see how you can help make a difference in our city and across the world. It will take each of us to reach everyone. Let’s continue to be a church that is quick to help those in need and see more people come to know Jesus. Together, we can accomplish great things!

With love,

Serving OUR CITY Building OUR CHURCH

Impacting OUR WORLD

Through various local outreaches and ministries within our community and city, we faithfully serve the practical needs of our neighbors.

Because the House of God is meant to be a place of excellence and magnificence, we invest in projects that build and advance the church both practically through first class facilities and spiritually through strategic ministries.

In order to fulfill our mandate to reach the world and expand God’s kingdom, we partner with Christians missions organizations that are making a difference for Jesus around the earth.

One Vision A LEGACY OF CHANGE

Serving OUR CITY

Champions Outreach Efforts  — $25,000

We have always been about serving the neighborhood God has placed us in. Pastor Steve, our Founding Pastor, used to say, “If we are going to represent Jesus in our community, our community should be better because we’re here.” Each year, through camps, events, giveaways, and serve days, we endeavor to improve our community with the love of Jesus and the church’s generosity.

Partnership with Klein Forest Athletics  — $5,000

Part of making our community better is partnering with those who serve the people of our community. Klein Forest High School athletics needs community support for the kids who play sports at every level. Through a partnership with the athletics department, we can help provide uniforms and other necessary equipment to our local student-athletes.

Partnership with Local Christian Ministries  — $10,000

In 2025, we intend to partner with local Christian organizations in our community, which serve in various ways to meet the needs of people in our neighborhood. Hope Haven’s mission is to help people experiencing homelessness find a path off the streets, offer continued support, and mentor them throughout their life journey as they become contributing members of our community. Elijah Rising’s mission is to end sex trafficking in Houston, and since its founding in 2012, it has intervened with 794 survivors of trafficking.

Building OUR CHURCH

Big Days  — $75,000

Big Days are our strategy to reach people for Jesus by creating easy invite opportunities for church members. They include Football Sunday, Easter, Mother/Father’s Day, Best Sunday Ever, and Candypalooza. These particular Sundays significantly impact the kingdom of God. Although they only make up about 12% of the Sundays throughout the year, Big Days account for 39% of our first-time guests and 44% of our new followers of Jesus.

Essential

Audio / Visual Equipment  — $150,000

The environment in church matters and can set the stage for Sunday worship. Each week, the Champions Worship and Production teams put together quality services and experiences for us. However, some necessary equipment, such as the sound system and the projection screens in the main auditorium, have become outdated and unreliable. Through Champions Give, we intend to purchase a new sound system for the auditorium and an LED video screen.

Restrooms Remodel   — $65,000

Throughout the twenty years we have occupied our current church building, we have prioritized the excellence, comfort, and hospitality of the house we call home. In 2025, we plan to update, repair, and refresh the church’s primary restroom facilities. We will purchase and install updated commercial stalls, walls, flooring, and fixtures to ensure the restrooms are functional, comfortable, and cohesive with the rest of the building.

Special Needs Ministry  — $60,000

Our hope in developing the Champions Club is to more effectively minister to children with disabilities or special needs, including those diagnosed with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other diagnosable disabilities. We intend to create an engaging environment, including designated sections for activities and learning and areas for lounging and exercising motor skills. Children will learn about Jesus from trained team members using a curriculum designed just for them.

Impacting OUR WORLD

Village of Hope  — $15,000

Village of Hope, an orphanage in Guatemala, strives to provide family, faith, and a future to children living with special needs, adolescent mothers, and children who were sex trafficked. Champions sponsored a tiny home at Village of Hope in 2024 and sent a team from the church to help with construction. We intend to partner with the Village of Hope through monthly financial support and a missions trip in 2025.

Ima’s Home  — $15,000

Ima’s Home, an orphanage in the Philippines, has provided more than 200 children a place to find safety and love in Christ, find freedom from their past, discover their purpose, and eventually make a difference in their community and their nation. Ima’s Home is currently building a new facility that will double its capacity and allow them to rescue more children off the streets of Manila. We intend to partner with them in monthly financial support in 2025.

Convoy of Hope  — $15,000

Working in dozens of countries around the world, including the United States, Convoy of Hope has served over 250 million people since 1994. They have a driving passion for feeding the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster response. Most recently, they have been on the front lines in North Carolina and Florida in the wake of devastating hurricanes. We hope to partner with them through monthly financial support in 2025.

CHAMPIONS GIVE 2025

People are THE POINT

Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless — cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help. That way, God’s bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he’ll get all the credit as the

One mighty in everything...
