Dr. Buning has been named Chaminade’s new athletic director and brings a personable leadership style and more than two decades of experience in NCAA Division I and II athletics to the position. He also has a passion for the Marianist values Chaminade instills in students and looks forward to fostering strategic initiatives in concert with the university’s key priorities.
Dr. Washburn-Repollo received a $100,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The short-term seminar grant from the FulbrightHays Group Projects Abroad (GPA) Program will support Washburn-Repollo’s research into the development of foreign language acquisition skills and aid in the advancement of a culturebased teaching curriculum.

Aaron Williamson was interviewed by KHON2 News regarding federal funding that came to Hawai'i to help during the COVID-19 pandemic. Williamson commented on the importance of the funds going towards local small businesses.

Dr. Roy Panzarella, a familiar name at Chaminade, is excited to bring his wealth of leadership experience to a new role at the University as head of the Hogan Entrepreneurial Program. His strong business acumen and commitment to serving others are a perfect fit with the Hogan program, a signature initiative at Chaminade that relies on strong partnerships with local executives and challenges students to turn their big ideas into business plans.
