YOUR DAY DOWNTOWN

YOUR DAY DOWNTOWN It is well-known that Currahee Mountain is visible throughout much of Stephens County. This iconic sight is one of the greatest waypoints to Downtown Toccoa. Travel by car, airplane, or even rail to visit your favorite retail locations and eateries downtown. The Amtrak Crescent visits Downtown Toccoa twice daily, and multiple highways connect Toccoa to Northeast Georgia all the way to Atlanta.

Surprise the people you love with unique and fresh bouquets at Downtown Flowers or Fish N Foliage. Shop for specialty items at Downtown Scrubs or Just Sew Pretty. And that’s not all. Spend hours rummaging through the Whistlestop Antique Market, the Chattel Shop, or All Things Currahee. The art community thrives downtown, so stop by Master’s Touch Artworks or The Studio for a beautiful painting.

Of course, other dining choices include the X-Factor Grill & Cornerstone Restaurant, known for their wonderful specials like their fish tacos or their classic lunch plates, or take a trip back in time and enjoy the lunch counter of the Rebel Café, serving up specialty fusion cuisine in a nostalgic ‘50s atmosphere. Toccoa’s famous Shirley’s Sole Food Café, featured on Food Network, is a must see. To finish your meal off, Victoria’s Sweet Treats is the place to go. Of course, dining isn’t your only option for things to do downtown. For personalized gifts, Troup’s Studio and CK Morgan & Company are a great option.
