ACAD recruiting for key positions

For almost 30 years, ACAD has been promoting best practice at the forefront of the licensed asbestos industry. Based in Darlington, ACAD operates the NVQ centre for the asbestos industry, represents its members with the HSE, and in the wider construction industry they are represented through its membership of

Build UK.

ACAD is also a part of TICA, and works closely with its on-site awarding organisation, IETTL. ACAD has now reached a point where it is looking to reshape the association to meet the evolving challenges driven by its substantial membership growth in recent times. external training delivery. In addition, the ideal candidate will be a qualified assessor and Internal Quality Assurer, and will take a leading role in the NVQ centre for the asbestos industry.

While candidates who are qualified in these roles are preferred, applications from those looking to develop into elements of this role will also be actively considered.

The association is also looking for a senior site auditor who will take over responsibility for its nationwide audit programme, including quality assurance of its network of auditors. Good experience of licensed asbestos work is essential, and experience of licence renewals would be an advantage.

In addition to these more senior positions, ACAD has vacancies throughout the UK for trainer/auditors/assessors, who are experienced in any of these roles and would like to develop their career with a supportive employer.
