Vaibhav Dange, is a known name in the ﬁeld of Public Policy & Indian infrastructure sector in particular. He has dedicated his career to being a tireless Nation Builder for the country. A policy expert in Infrastructure, Governance, Public Policy, Business Management and Sustainable Mobility, he has been instrumental in catalyzing projects synonymous to fast tracking the emergence of a ‘New India’.

From authoring numerous books and strategic policy recommendations and policy papers for the government to delivering more than 500 keynote addresses, Vaibhav dawns many hats and is one of the most sought-after speakers in the country on economic issues at various industry associations, chambers, and academic institutions

Meet Vaibhav Dange

As a part of the leadership, during his role as the Private Secretary to the Union Minister of Road Transport, Highways , & Shipping, Vaibhav has played a pivotal role in shaping policy and execution of India's biggest highway projects in the Indian government. He brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the country's growing infrastructure sector. He played a pivotal role in ensuring that the government’s vision to build a robust, seamlessly connected nation is translated into action on ground.

During his stint in an advisory role at NHAI (National Highway Authority of India) — Vaibhav helped monitor the country’s biggest-ever drive to build all-weather roads.

He has a ring-side view of how India’s roads Ministry overcame challenges of ﬁnancing stalled projects and used technology to build an electronic system for collecting toll. He shouldered multiple responsibilities including the monitoring and facilitating of ﬁnance for public-private partnerships and stalled road projects and development of electronic toll collection and other IT initiatives.

He is also a member of the board of governors and chairman of the building committee at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management in Nagpur.

Being a public Policy specialist, he has recently curated & anchored a TV series for Discovery Channel, named “Build India”, which showcases unique stories about the passion to reshape India's infrastructure and how excellent engineering, great human capabilities and cutting-edge technologies are building a New India.

Vaibhav is passionate about encouraging entrepreneurship, education while using innovation & technology to bring in positive impact in people’s lives.

Vaibhav holds a Bachelor in Electronics and a Post Graduate degree in Business Management. And has attended Japanese Management Practices at AOTS Tokyo, Japan and has undertaken a refreshment course on Transport Modelling and Planning at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
