Tucson & SOUTHERN ARIZONA
Do it all in just a few days without ever leaving Cochise County. Located in the southeast corner of Arizona, this is one of the most culturally, historically and geographically diverse areas in the American Southwest: Benson, Bisbee, Douglas, Tombstone, Sierra Vista and Willcox - legendary communities within a short drive of one another - less than a day’s journey by stagecoach, it’s said.
The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a world-renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden, all in one place! Exhibits re-create the natural landscape of the Sonoran Desert region so realistically you find yourself eye-to-eye with mountain lions, prairie dogs, Gila monsters and more. Within the Museum grounds, you will see more than 300 animal species and 1,200 kinds of plants. There are almost 2 miles of paths traversing 21 acres of beautiful desert.
-THE VALLEY’S ONLY AUTHENTIC GHOST TOWNJourney back in time to the authentic 1890’s Old West! Located near the foothills of the legendary Superstition Mountains 12

Kartchner Caverns is a stunning limestone cave in southeastern Arizona and boasts many world-class features that have been protected since the cave was discovered in 1974. The cavern has been surveyed at 2.4 miles long. Kartchner is a wet, “live” cave. Water percolates from the surface and calcium carbonate features continue to grow in the darkness. The park is located 9 miles south of I-10 on Hwy. 90.
