Edlund Aero Structures Ltd. / EA Structures Ltd. ( A member of the Edlund Aerospace Group INC. ) was formed in 2006 and based in scenic Chilliwack B.C. in the Fraser Valley . With its focus primarily on the repair and overhaul sector of both fixed wing and rotary aircraft, it became abundantly clear there was opportunity to expand and growth was eminent. Over the next few years due to increased market demands EA Structures shifted its primary focus to modifications and engineering. Having already worked with major industry players, EA was setting the stage for many exciting projects to come. Over those next few years we were privileged to have worked on aircraft worldwide including North and South America, Africa, and Europe. And now with our addition of Advanced Avionics Inc. ( a member of the Edlund Aerospace Group inc.) we can now offer new state of the art avionics installations and upgrades, never been accomplished here before. Chilliwack has played a huge part in our success. This beautiful city we call home is abundant with outdoor activities allowing attractive living for our staff and recreation and relaxation for our clientele. Additionally because of the success of the Chilliwack Flight Fest we have now 2 sponsored Pilots flying with EA colors in many air shows across North America. The local industry plays a huge roll in any business. Chilliwack is home to many unique manufacturing and production based companies that have had major contributions to our successes. With all these factors combined, Chilliwack has truly become our home. With the continued support of City council and the expansion and upgrades planned at Chilliwack Airport, we are confident Chilliwack Airport will continue to grow and assist in drawing larger higher profile clients to the area. This proactive approach together with the establishment of the “Chilliwack Aviation and Aerospace Planning Committee” provides enhanced opportunities for local aviation businesses. Aerospace and aviation have been an essential component of Chilliwack’s identity. Because of these reasons, it’s easy for us to call Chilliwack our home.
