Colombia conquered 145 medals in Cali-Valle 2021

The Colombian delegation showed off their sporting talents during the I Junior Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021, held from November 25 to December 5. The locals finished with 48 gold medals, 34 silver and 63 bronze medals, for a total of 145 medals, the third highest total among the participating countries, and the first among the member nations of Centro Caribe Sports.

21 of the 31 Centro Caribe Sports member countries affiliated to Panam Sports, managed to get on the podium with at least one athlete, adding 519 of the 1,053 that were awarded in the Junior Pan American event. Volumen 4, Año 2021

Kelsey Decklon Daniel and Tyriq Dave Hosford, won silver and bronze medals, respectively, during the I Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021. Decklon Daniel did 7.9 meters in the Long Jump for the silver medal, while Dave Hosford completed 71.33 meters in the Javelin Throw.

Puerto Rico: 20 medals in Cali-Valle 2021 The delegation from Puerto Rico became the fourth delegation among the Centro Caribe Sports member countries, with the most medals at the I Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021, at the end of the continental event with 20. Patrick Groters makes history for Aruba

Aruba finished with three medals at the I Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021, where Patrick Gerardo Groters placed his nation in the medal table with three medals, two gold and one silver, all in swimming, in the events of 200-meter Backstrokes and 200 meters individual medley, with times of 2:01.78 and 2:02.09, respectively. Costa Rica holds historic participation in Cali-Valle 2021

The Costa Rican delegation finished with two gold medals during the I Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021, in addition to three silver and five bronze medals. The cyclist Gabriel Rojas, won the first gold of his country and ticket to Santiago 2023 Pan American Games. Juan Castro of athletics, in the 1,500 m event, obtained the other gold. 4

Guatemala adds 16 medals in CaliValle 2021 The delegation of Guatemala added 16 medals during the

I Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021, being a historic participation in these Games. Erick Gordillo achieved the only gold medal of his country in the Games, in swimming, 400 meters individual medley event. In addition, he had silver in the 200m individual medley and bronze in the 200m backstroke. Guatemala added five silver medals and 10 bronze medals.

23 medals for the Dominican Republic in Cali-Valle 2021

The Dominican Republic obtained a total of 23 medals during the I Junior Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021, finishing with five gold, eight silver and 10 bronze medals. Fiordaliza Cofil became the most awarded athlete in the delegation after finishing with three medals, one gold in the 400m with a time of 52.10 seconds, and two bronze: 200m with 23.46s and a 4x400m mixed relay thanks to the 3:28.28.

El Salvador climbs to the podium of Cali-Valle 2021 with eight medals

Uriel Canjura of Badminton, led the delegation of El Salvador in the medal table of the I Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021, by winning two of the eight medals in the continental competition. Canjura’s two medals were silver, out of three achieved by the Central American nation. In addition, El Salvador added five

Mexico achieves the highest total of medals in Cali-Valle 2021 Mexico finished as the second delegation among the member countries to this organization, adding 46 gold, 78 silver and 48 bronze, with a total of 172 medals, being the highest amount of all. Anahi Alvarez, was the most awarded athlete of the Mexican delegation, by winning a gold and silver medal in Triathlon, in the Individual and Mixed Relay events, and likewise, two gold ones in Athletics, in the disciplines of 1,500 meters and 5,000m, respectively.

Cuba, third best member nation of Centro Caribe Sports in Cali-Valle 2021 Cuba was the third best nation of the Central America and the Caribbean in the 2021 Cali-Valle medal table, when it finished with 29 gold, 19 silver and 22 bronze medals, for a total of 70. Venezuela completes TOP-5 of Centro Caribe Sports member countries in the Cali-Valle 2021 medal table

Venezuela finished with 36 medals at the I Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021, where Maria Victoria Yegres was the most outstanding athlete with four medals, including a gold one in swimming, 800 meters freestyle event with a time of 8:50.81. Yegres also took the podium in the 200-meter freestyle with a silver at 2:02.16, while he won two bronze medals in the 1,500m freestyle and 400m freestyle, with times of 17:06.02 and 4:19.24, respectively. The Venezuelan delegation compiled seven gold, eight silver and 21 bronze medals in this sporting event.

To complete the 21 member nations of Centro Caribe Sports that rose to the podium in the I Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021, four countries achieved a bronze medal in this continental event. Kyle Rashard Alcine from the Bahamas, took the podium in Athletics, High Jump test after jumping 2.19 meters.
