MESSAGEFROMMANAGINGARTISTICDIRECTOR

Dear Friends,

Welcome to Waitress the Musical at Centre Stage!

The first time I saw this show, I was deeply moved by its honest, heartwarming story. It’s a tale of resilience, hope, and the strength it takes to choose something better for yourself wrapped in music that’s as rich and layered as the pies Jenna bakes. I left the theatre that night thinking, This is a story our community needs to experience.

From that moment, I dreamed of bringing Waitress to Centre Stage of being the first to produce it in the Upstate using the incredible local talent we’re so lucky to have here. That dream has come to life on this stage, and I am thrilled to share it with you.

I hope tonight’s performance touches your heart the way the story first touched mine. Thank you for supporting live theatre and for being part of this special moment in Centre Stage’s journey.

With heartfelt gratitude,
