Here we are at everyone’s favorite event, 130 for $130! This one sells out every year, and this year we again challenge ourselves and our artists to try to get 130 pieces. This was a little stressful for Sara, but I think we both knew our artists would come through. And, of course, they did! Thank you to our wonderfully talented group of artists! We are so fortunate to work with artists that are so willing to “give back” to CAE and our community. This event would not be possible without their generosity, so thank you! I always say we would not be an art center without our artists.
To my friend and colleague, Sara Miller, thank you for all your hard work and for reaching our goal! Now it’s time for all you to study the artwork, get out your spreadsheets, and start prioritizing your favorites. You have just a few weeks until the big event, and, remember, when your number is called, you only have 30 seconds to make your selection!

About 130 for $130
130 for $130 is an art exhibition and fundraising event created at the Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE) in Evergreen, Colorado. CAE is a registered nonprofit that has been in existence for 48 years. CAE’s mission is to enrich and serve our mountain community by promoting and cultivating the arts through quality educational programming, exhibitions, and events. 130 for $130 runs from August 24 - September 15, 2023, and the fundraising selection event is scheduled for the evening of September 15. This exhibition would not have been possible without the help of so many artists, businesses, volunteers, and the CAE board and staff.
