A native of Charleroi, Pa., Fusina earned his bachelor’s (2007) and master’s (2008) degrees in sport management from California University of Pennsylvania. Fusina is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Basketball Coaches (NABC). In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, he has also served as an instructor at numerous summer basketball camps.

Assistant Coach Anthony Lorenzo

Anthony Lorenzo joins the 2014-2015 Centenary College Men’s Basketball program for his first year as an assistant Coach. Lorenzo is a 2014 graduate of Rutgers University where he was a member of the Women’s Basketball Program as Head Student Basketball Manager. As the manager, Lorenzo assisted the coaches with practice agendas, workout drills, shootout camps and scouting. He currently is a recruiter for the Hoop Group Elite in Neptune, NJ and also an assistant coach for the 9th Grade High School in Highland Park, NJ. As the assistant coach at Highland Park, Lorenzo ran tryouts, coached teams in weekly practices, lead demonstrator for drills and skills clinics while implementing strategies for practice. He owns a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Sport Studies, Sports Management from Rutgers University.

The 2014-15 season will be the third for Sean Stolzenthaler as assistant men’s basketball coach at Centenary College. Stolzenthaler joined the men’s basketball coaching staff after coaching at Allentown High School (N.J.), serving as the assistant varsity coach and head coach of the JV squad. Stolzenthaler was a four-year starting point guard at Catholic University from 2005-09. He led the Landmark Conference in assists and assist-to-turnover ratio during his junior and senior seasons.

Stolzenthaler continued his playing career in 2010 on the USA Select Pro Basketball Tour Team playing in Hungary, Finland, and England. He has also worked basketball camps including the Hoop Group and the Pocono Invitational Camp, coaching some of the top middle and high school players on the east coast. In addition, Stolzenthaler has coached the Mid-Jersey Mavericks AAU team.


Coaches

Zachary Liu enters his second season as an assistant coach for the Centenary College men’s basketball team during the 2014-15 academic year. Liu previously coached in the collegiate ranks as an assistant coach at the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg during the 2007-08 season. At UPG, Liu scouted and recruited high school athletes and assisted with game planning.

Liu has served locally as an assistant varsity and head junior varsity coach at Wachtung Hills High School (2008-10) and at Warren Hills Middle School (2010-13). He is currently the program director at Hoop Nation, LLC in Colonia, N.J., and the director of the Hoops Camp at Wachtung Hills in Warren. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in 2008 from the University of Pittsburgh, Liu earned his master’s degree in physical education from Manhattanville College in 2013.

Reeves Gym

The John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center completed a $5 million expansion and renovation in January 2007. The athletic facility was expanded to 30,000 square feet and includes a 1,200 seat gymnasium with two full-sized multipurpose courts, a fitness center/weight-room, locker rooms, a pool with separate locker room facilities, indoor batting cages, new athletic staff offices and athletic training facilities.
