All throughout the Career Development program, students can count on the support of a dedicated team in the Career Services. The team provides on-demand, personal support to students in all matters related with the transition to the job market, from helping to cope with stress to guidance on CV and cover letter writing. Mastering Your Career Courses: half semester course part of the very special Career Development Program which Nova SBE has designed to help our Masters Students on their path to conquer their preferred given job position upon graduation. Held by the Career Services Team and some Guests, this course helps Students consolidate relevant information and tools to increase the success rate of recruitment processes. Improves reflective thinking about the self and possible career path and it capacitates students on job search tools; Mentoring Young Talent to Achieve (MYTA) program: each student will have an experienced alumnus of NOVA SBE as a mentor. Mentors will use their own experience and know-how to give council and advice to students for a period of one year; Career Fairs: Nova SBE hold two career fairs per year, one focused on the international market in November and another for Iberian employers in February, bringing together on campus +75 companies, therefore providing students with recruitment and networking opportunities; On and off-campus recruitment/networking sessions: for students to be in close contact with companies, therefore increasing recruitment opportunities (around 85/year); Business Games: essential to promote contact with companies and enrich students’ CV’s. Corporate Links: The Career Services make sure to establish good relations between the school and the marketplace; Access to Nova SBE Career Hub, our On-Line Job Bank and Web-Based Recruiting System: Nova SBE Career Hub is the students’ door to the marketplace, every Thursday students receive the platform newsletter highlighting top job offers, career related events and business games. Companies have direct access to Nova SBE Career Hub. Only students that have their CV on Nova SBE Career Hub will be viewable.
