CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS

(1) Mayor Pro Tem Jay Pierce presented a special proclamation to the Celina High School Marching Band for winning its second consecutive Texas 4A State Championship.

(2) The City of Celina’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Team was honored by Mayor Ryan Tubbs and was given a special proclamation declaring November 15, 2023, as GIS Day.

(3) Susan Holt from Carter BloodCare presented Assistant Chief Brent Brown with a trophy for the Police Department’s triumph in the Battle of the Badges at Beware! of the Square.

(4) Celina EDC Director of Marketing & Tourism Melissa Thomas gave a special presentation to the City Council highlighting the City’s accreditation as a Texas Film-Friendly Community.

(5) Mayor Ryan Tubbs presented the Celina High School Theater Department with a proclamation for its efforts to enhance the City’s annual Beware! of the Square event.

ATTEND A CITY COUNCIL MEETING!

The City Council Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 5 PM inside City Council Chambers located at 112 N. Colorado St in Celina. All City Council Meeting agendas are posted at least 72 hours prior to the meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Each meeting is livestreamed and recorded for those who cannot attend. Streaming information and agenda packets can be found online at celina-tx.gov/citycouncil.
